Ok folks, this is Part 2 in what is going to be a 3-part series exposing things that seem to suggest there was “knowledge aforethought” that Donald Trump was going to be assassinated that fateful afternoon in Butler, PA.
I want to be very clear I’m not accusing any particular person of anything, I’m simply reporting on some facts that are raising a lot of eyebrows.
There may be perfectly valid explanations for all of these, and that’s why I only report — and I let YOU decide!
Ok, with that clarification out of the way, let’s dig in….
So I have to say upfront I have no expertise in photography. None. I took a “photography” summer class in 6th grade and I hated it so much the memory still stays with me. I just don’t get it. I’m not built for it. I found it very frustrating.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t respect the people who DO get it and are very good at it.
And those people have noticed something VERY interesting about the now famous photo of President Trump that APPEARS to have captured the bullet after it hit his ear and kept going past time.
Truly and ICONIC and almost IMPOSSIBLE photo.
Like the Big Unit Randy Johnson exploding that bird with his pitch back in 2001…..anyone remember this?
What are the odds?
Well, that’s the question many people are asking about this now iconic photo: What are the odds?
Specifically though, to capture a photo like that many photography experts are reporting that the photographer is quoted as saying he was shooting at 30fps 1/8000.
According to Nick Sorter:
#BREAKING: Combat correspondent and photographer Michael Yon comments on NYT reporter Doug Mills decision to use a HIGHLY advanced camera the day Trump was SHOT!
Yon said “The New York Times photographer, Doug Mills, is quoted as shooting at 30fps 1/8000.
Those are settings I would choose if I were trying to catch extremely fast action. Such as a head exploding.”
Could the NYT Reporter have KNOWN something was going to happen?!

This post from MJTruth was really good, let me show you this one too and then we’ll break it all down:

Everyone should read this…
The NYT Reporter who Captured the Bullet Flying Past Trumps Head, was using the Kind of Camera & Settings you’d Use to Capture Live-Fire Action, Such as a Head Exploding!
@Michael_Yon, one of the most experienced combat war correspondents living today, made a Compelling assessment.
I put together his assessment in a more understandable breakdown, provided additional details, and my analysis.
Quoted from the NYT
• Who was the Photographer?
—— A famous veteran NYT photographer named Doug Mills.• What Kind of Equipment & Settings were used?
—— Mr. Mills was using a Sony A1 and 24mm f/1.4 GM, capable of capturing images at up to 30 frames per second. Priced at $6,499.
—— He took these photos with a shutter speed of 1/8,000th of a second. Extremely Fast by industry standards. The above is quoted from NYT themselves.
Source: (https://nytimes.com/2024/07/14/us/politics/photo-path-trump-assassination.html)
The Perfect “Shot”
• If the gunman was firing an AR-15-style rifle, the .223-caliber or 5.56-millimeter bullets they use travel at roughly 3,200 feet per second when they leave the weapon’s muzzle.
—— “And with a 1/8,000th of a second shutter speed, this would allow the bullet to travel approximately four-tenths of a foot while the shutter is open.”• Most cameras used to capture images of bullets in flight are using extremely high speed specialty cameras not normally utilized for regular photography, so catching a bullet on a side trajectory as seen in that photo would be a one in a million shot and nearly impossible to catch even if one knew the bullet was coming.
At that distance and trajectory, had any bullet hit Trump, that type of camera and settings would have easily captured his head frankly exploding.
Were they there for the “Perfect Pulitzer Prize Head Shot”…?
COUNTER ARGUMENTS
• “Some journalists argue Its usage by the NYT photographers is not unusual.”
—— Only professional photographers can answer this question.• “Shooting at 1/8000 at f1.6 in daylight is also not unusual, but necessary for proper exposure.”
—— again, only Professional and unbiased photographers can answer that question.CRITICAL QUESTIONS THAT WILL EITHER PROVE OR DEBUNK THIS
• Examine any and all Video footage of the Photographer, Doug Mills, at least 1-2 minutes before the shot.
—— check body language.
—— how many images did he capture leading up to THAT moment?
—— was he ultra focused in the moments leading up to the shots?• How many times has Doug Mills photographed at a Trump rally?
—— apply that same question to other cameramen & photographers.• Who made the decision to send Doug Mills there?
—— climb the ladder.• How common is it for these kinds of cameras and these settings used to capture rally speeches, where the “object” being photographed is standing still?
—— Trump campaign photographers can weigh in easily on this, or maybe even Gene Ho.• Why were all legacy media outlets showing THIS rally Live?
—— they rarely do that…
—— CNN, MSNBC, FOX, and others decided to show THIS rally?
—— Find out who gave those outlets the green light to show this rally live. Climb the ladder. These questions can lead the Trump campaign to answers.
That’s a really good and fair post, examining all angles.
I told you, there could be a PERFECTLY good and reasonable explanation here.
But it IS still raising a lot of eyebrows….
Here is the Michael Yon post that has been referenced by many. Yon claims
Bullet Trace, and interesting matters

Bullet Trace, and interesting matters
It’s nearly 0400 here in Japan. So this is a mind-dump, sans edit:
Interesting on bullet trace — scratching my memories, I do not recall seeing any bullet trace photos from close to 90 degrees from bullet’s flight path. Am not saying it cannot be done. It probably can be done with modern cameras and high shutter speeds.
Now keep in mind I am pretty handy with weapons and with cameras. I was a Special Forces weapons specialist. As a photographer, I shot some of the most famous photos in Iraq and in Afghanistan. Substantial crossover knowledge.
My first thought was — I’d never seen a trace shot from that angle. Second thought was it should be possible. Third thought was that would be a fast shutter speed.
I was preparing to reach out to the photographer. Hunting and pecking online, I found New York Times quoting the shutter speed at 1/8000th of second.
It happens that I have sitting on table here the top three DSLRs Sony makes. The cameras most people salivate over, I have three here. Because I know how important serious gear is.
I use only the very best cameras and lenses. Top gear helped make some of the most interesting and often intense photos in two wars. Unfortunately I often broke lenses while jumping on the ground or hitting against a wall or doorway. No camera ever broke.
I use the cameras regularly though rarely publish photos from them these days. The maximum shutter speed on all three of these cameras in 1/8000.
The the New York Times photographer, Doug Mills, is quoted as shooting at 30fps 1/8000.
Those are settings I would choose if I were trying to catch extremely fast action. Such as a head exploding.
Am not suggesting anything at all. Just as a war correspondent…I never cranked shutter that high even for anything. I wanted to keep ISO lower. Other professionals choose other settings.
Yon claims that as a war correspondent, he personally never cranked shutter that high for anything.
That’s quite a statement.
Ok, now let’s look at the Community Note attached to the Tweet:
Another similar one here:
Ok, so this note is claiming that shooting at 1,8000 is also a setting you would use if you were shooting on a bright sunny day and wanted the subject in focus.
That seems to be in contrast to what Michael Yon claims as his personal experience, but as I said above it’s all Greek to me in the world of photography.
So I would love to hear from any of you who are amateur (or professional) photogs.
Do you shoot in 1,800?
If so, what are the situations that you’d use it for?
I also put the question to ChatGPT, because it is an expert on everything, of course.
Here was my first question:
So when asked what these settings are for, ChatGPT seems to side with the Twitter posts above (and not the Community Note), identifying the ability to capture fast moving objects but not saying anything about being good for a sunny day.
To be thorough, I then asked a follow up question, specifically drilling down on the utility of those settings for a bright sunny day:
So putting that in my own layman’s terms, it sounds like the answer is it might help with brightness, but that’s not really the primary use of those settings and there are other settings that might be more effective dealing with a bright sunny day.
Ok folks, now I want to hear from you.
We have a lot of really smart people that read WLTReport every day, and with 5+ million monthly readers, I have no doubt we have a lot of very seasoned photogs in here.
Please light up the comments section and let me hear your thoughts! I’ll check back in a bit to read them.
Thank you!
And if you missed Part 1 of this series, I’ll reprint it below:
BREAKING: Investment Fund Reportedly Placed MASSIVE PUT OPTION Against Trump Company Right Before Shooting? (Part 1)
Ok folks, buckle up for this one because it’s wild!
We’re talking finance, but I promise you it will NOT be boring.
First, a little education session…
When you think a stock is going to go down, you can “short it” to make money on the way down.
Most people know that.
If you want to make even more money by using more leverage, you can buy “puts” and you’ll make a lot more money if you’re right about it going down.
One other thing….stock ticker symbol $DJT is the stock that owns TruthSocial (Trump’s company).
Now, let’s say you were the Deep State and you planned to assassinate a President. Let’s also say that President owned a large social media company whose success was largely tied to his success. So much so that ticker symbol was $DJT. Then let’s assume you wanted to assassinate that President and make several hundred million dollars while doing it.
What would you do?
You’d by a crap-ton of puts on $DJT.
So did anyone do that?
Let me introduce you to Austin Private Wealth LLC.
According to public filings, they reported that they shorted 12,000,000 shares of $DJT via puts!!
That would qualify as a “crap-ton”.
Take a look:
A company named Austin Private Wealth LLC shorted 12,000,000 shares of $DJT through a put option.
The filing date was July 12th, the day before the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

The filing date was July 12th, the day before the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.
They manage approximately $1 billion in assets, and this is by far their largest put option.
The next closest was Citadel Advisors with 16,770 shares.
Austin Private Wealth LLC, a financial services company, is connected to the Bush family through James A. Baker III, a former Secretary of State and close Bush family associate.
James A. Baker III serves as a Senior Policy Director at Austin Private Wealth LLC.
He has been with the company since its inception in 2006, advising on foreign policy and international relations.
George H.W. Bush: He was a client of Austin Private Wealth LLC and received investment advice from the firm.
George W. Bush: He has spoken at Austin Private Wealth LLC’s events and has been involved in the company’s charitable initiatives.
Here’s a snapshot of the filing:
My friend Mike Adams the Health Ranger was also on the story:
Here’s the relevant data from https://t.co/QozIHQ8TXQ, showing the astonishingly huge short position (“put”) filed on July 12th by Austin Private Wealth, LLC against Trump Media & Technology Group, Corp, for an astonishing 12,000,000 shares. Kyle Becker reports there are strong BlackRock and Vanguard ties with Austin Private Wealth LLC — although to be fair, almost everything in the financial industry is in one way or another closely tied to Vanguard and BlackRock (which is most of the problem):

Now since we’re talking finance, we might as well go to one of the top finance guys out there, my friend Meet Kevin who actually covered this topic early this morning on his Stock Market Open livestream.
Starting at the 22:11 mark, someone asks him about it and he looks into it live on the stream….
I don’t want to put words in his mouth, which is why I’m giving you the video below so you can watch for yourself (it should start right at 22:11) but he basically concludes by the end: “yeah, that does seem really weird”.
Watch here:
In the interest of fair and accurate reporting, now we have to go to the company itself who released a statement correcting the record and basically claiming this was just an “error” in their filing.
You can see the statement below:
Statement on incorrect filing from Austin Private Wealth, LLC
“The SEC filing which showed that Austin Private Wealth shorted a large number of shares of Trump Media & Technology Group Corp (DJT) was incorrect and we immediately amended it as soon as we learned of the error.

FULL IMAGE:
They basically say it was error in the number.
So they DID actually purchase puts on $DJT, just not 12 million shares worth. They claim it was only 1,200 shares. Basically, some how the error multiplied the number by 10,000 times. Very strange.
Other sources are reporting that not only did they short $DJT, they also shorted Rumble ($RUM) — a closely related company and one that would likely move similarly to $DJT.
Oh my:
Not only did Austin Private Wealth short 12 million shares of Trump’s $DJT stock before his attempted assassination, but they also shorted 34 million shares of Rumble at exactly the same time.

So….was it just an error? Just a glitch? Just a typo? Just a multiplier oopsie-doopsie?
One hell of a time and place to have a “glitch” is all I can say.
Not saying it wasn’t, just saying that is one hell of a really bad glitch.

Others report the Investment Firm has strong ties to the Bush family:

Did the Bush’s know something was going to happen to Donald Trump?
This massive trade represents 6% of total shares and over 16% of the float, given Trump’s 60% ownership.
Their $1B AUM makes this a significant bet.
Austin Private Wealth is connected to the Bush family through James A. Baker III, a Senior Policy Director with longstanding ties to the Bushes, having served as Secretary of State under George H.W. Bush and in various roles under Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.
George W. Bush has strongly shared his support AGAINST Trump despite everything happening in our country.
While these connections don’t imply direct involvement, they highlight significant professional relationships..
Conclusion?
I think we have to take them at their word that it was just a “multiplier glitch”. Very strange. Incredibly bad timing for that particular glitch to have happened.
Also, the entire story wasn’t wrong, they did short $DJT, just not that much.
Your thoughts?
