BREAKING: Indian Law Enforcement RAID George Soros’ Open Society Foundation Offices — FEMA Violations!

Nearly one month ago, President Trump hosted India’s President Modi at the White House on February 13th, 2025.

One more later, Indian officials have reportedly raided the offices of George Soros’ Open Society Foundation offices.

Coincidence?

Perhaps, but I’ll take it either way!

The raids were associated with FEMA violations, but not the US-FEMA, the Indian FEMA which stands for Foreign Exchange Management Act.
On March 18, 2025, India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on the offices of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, as part of an investigation into alleged violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The searches targeted multiple locations linked to OSF and related entities, following suspicions that funds were being routed through improper channels to bypass regulatory restrictions. The operation was widely reported by credible Indian news outlets, including The Times of India and India Today, and has been a developing story as of March 19, 2025.

    THE Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted searches at eight locations in Bengaluru linked to the Open Society Foundations (OSF) founded by US billionaire George Soros and its investment arm, the Soros Economic Development Fund (SEDF), as part of its probe into alleged foreign exchange violations.

    The OSF did not respond to an email sent by The Indian Express.

    The premises of some of the beneficiaries of OSF and SEDF, including those linked to some international human rights bodies, and a company named Aspada Investments Pvt Ltd were searched under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), sources said.

    ED sources called Aspada Investments the investment advisor or fund manager of SEDF in India. According to sources, Aspada Investment Company was set up by the OSF in Mauritius to channelise funding in India. “Aspada Investment Advisors Pvt Ltd (AIAPL) was established in Bengaluru on February 4, 2013, to manage/ advise SEDF’s investment in India. It is learnt that SEDF funded more than 12 companies in India to the tune of Rs 300 crore, and ED is collecting evidence,” said sources.

    According to sources, a preliminary investigation showed that OSF was placed under ‘Prior Reference Category’ (PRC) by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on May 30, 2016. “Since then, OSF needs prior sanction of MHA for sending money to FCRA registered organisations in India. SEDF is the social impact investment arm of the OSF,” said sources.

    In order to bypass such restrictions, “the OSF had subsidiaries in India and brought in funds in the form of FDI and consultancy fees, and these funds have been used to fund activities of the NGOs, which is a FEMA contravention”, ED sources said.

    The ED is probing the end use of the FDI funds.

    Sources said SEDF was found to have provided funds for “various activities linked to the NGO sector in the garb of FDI or consultancy/ service fee” to three Indian companies, which together got around Rs 25 crore from 2020-21 to 2023-24.

    According to the OSF, it is one of the world’s largest private funding agencies of groups supporting human rights, justice and accountable government, with an annual budget of over US$1 billion in 2020.

    “The Open Society’s Soros Economic Development Fund is also an active social impact investor in India. Its goals include helping smallholder farmers and small businesses boost their incomes, and making healthcare, schooling and financial services more available and affordable to a broader range of people. Since 2008, Open Society has invested over $90 million in start-up and early funding projects managed by Bangalore-based Aspada Investments,” it says on its website.

    Did USAID (or US-AIDS as I like to call it) send $260 Million to George Soros?

    How about that....the man ruined the USA and he didn't even need to spend his own money to do it, he spent ours!

    Well, kind of.

    It's probably more accurate to say "USAIDS funneled $260 million to Soros-aligned causes and organizations".

    But isn't that basically the same thing?

    Just semantics at that point, right?

    Remind me again why in the world we'd ever have a corrupt organization like USAID in the first place?

    John Solomon's JustTheNews broke the story:

    Before the Trump administration closed USAID’s doors, the agency regularly routed funding to causes aligned with George Soros’ nonprofit empire, terrorists and drag queens.

    The agency came under scrutiny from the new administration over failures to ensure transparency in its funding to organizations across the globe and concerns that the leadership was not responding to explicit policy directives from the State Department and the wider executive branch to align its programs with Trump policies and the U.S. national interest.

    In recent days, the Trump administration identified USAID programs ranging from contraceptives for Afghanistan to LGBT diversity programs for European countries as clear evidence that foreign aid needed to be paused and reevaluated, a task that fell to the Rubio State Department.

    The development agency for years also funneled money to several nonprofit groups that also received substantial backing from components of George Soros’ empire. Some previously came under scrutiny during the Obama administration for “democracy promotion” and judicial reform efforts in European countries that critics claimed promoted leftist politics.

    For example, U.S. government spending records show that the East-West Management Institute, which is in part backed by Soros’ Open Society Foundations, received more than $260 million over the years in grants from USAID to, among other things, promote the rule of law in Georgia, strengthen civil society in Uganda, and advance Serbia’s accession talks with the European Union.

    That same nonprofit group came under scrutiny during the Obama administration after Judicial Watch uncovered government records and communications showing that the East-West Management Institute’s “Justice for All” campaign in Albania received $9 million in funding from USAID.

    The assistance concerned several GOP Senators, who sent a letter to the newly appointed Secretary of State Rex Tillerson in 2017, alleging the campaign funded by the U.S. government helped craft an Albanian judicial reform proposal that may “give the Prime Minister and left-of-center government full control over the judiciary.”

    Those same Senators also raised concerns about a similar Soros-backed program in neighboring Macedonia where they said a local affiliate called Foundation Open Society-Macedonia received backing from USAID through the Open Society Foundations and pushed “a progressive agenda.”

    Other Soros-backed organizations that received funding from both his Open Society Foundations network and USAID include the Anti-Corruption Action Center in Ukraine and Transparency International.

    According to the group's own records, the Anti-Corruption Action Center began receiving funding from USAID the same year the Maidan Revolution overthrew Ukraine’s elected, Russian-friendly President Viktor Yanukovych. The group, by its own admission, was heavily critical of Yanukovych’s government and ministers, which aligned with U.S. State Department policy at the time. During the 2014 Maidan Revolution, then-Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland visited Ukraine and was recorded on a leaked phone call discussing how the United States could influence the formation of a new government in Kyiv.

    George Soros’ Open Society Foundations did not respond to a request for comment.

    After temporarily shutting down USAID operation, the Trump administration defended the move, citing other left-wing causes that received funding grants from the agency. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt highlighted several when speaking with reporters on Monday, including $1.5 million for diversity measures in Serbia, $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru, and $70,000 for a DEI musical in Ireland.

    House Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Brian Mast, R-Fla., also flagged other examples of USAID funding, including $15 million for condoms sent to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and over $3 million for “being LGBTQ in the Caribbean.”

    President Trump and the Trump Administration has just fired nearly 10,000 people from the USAID (or as I like to call it, US-AIDS) payroll:

    Reuters confirms the report and states that Marco Rubio is directly involved:

    President Donald Trump's administration plans to keep fewer than 300 staff at the U.S. Agency for International Development out of the agency's worldwide total of more than 10,000, four sources told Reuters on Thursday.
    Washington's primary humanitarian aid agency has been a target of a government reorganization program spearheaded by businessman Elon Musk, a close Trump ally, since the Republican president took office on January 20.

    The four sources familiar with the plan said only 294 staff at the agency would be allowed to keep their jobs.
    With Trump and Musk, the world's wealthiest man, levying false accusations that its staff were criminals and unsubstantiated allegations that funds were stolen, dozens of USAID staff have been put on leave, hundreds of internal contractors have been laid off and life-saving programs around the globe have been left in limbo.

    The administration announced on Tuesday it was going to put on leave all directly hired USAID employees globally, and recall thousands of personnel working overseas.
    Secretary of State Marco Rubio had said the administration was identifying and designating programs that would be exempted from the sweeping stop-work orders, which have threatened efforts around the globe to stop the spread of disease, prevent famine and otherwise alleviate poverty.

    This reminds me of an old joke....

    Apparently 294 to do the actual work, and 9,706 to launder the money!  (Allegedly, of course.)

    A widely seen 1998 interview on 60 Minutes of billionaire liberal financier George Soros discussing his role as a teenager in Nazi occupied Hungary is arguably the most damning footage of him out there, giving us incredible insight into his deranged mind. Despite his normally openly megalomaniacal behavior, the blowback to the comments made in that interview must have been damaging, as evidenced by the attempt to deny that Soros said what he said.

    In a brazen attempt to protect his image, countless liberal “fact checkers” and publications ideologically sympathetic to Soros have tried to misrepresent the interview, and claim that his words were taken out of context (oddly without ever telling us what the correct context is supposed to be). Their misrepresentation of the 60 Minutes interview aside, that’s not the only source of information available.

    The following is an except from the book The Man Behind the Curtain: Inside the Secret Network of George Soros

    An ethnic Jew, Soros was born in Budapest in 1930 and survived the Nazi occupation of Hungary before moving to the U.K. in 1947. The Nazi occupation of Hungary began on March 19, 1944, forcing Soros into hiding until being liberated by the Russians on January 12, 1945.

    In spring 1944, the Nazis ordered the creation of the Central Council of Hungarian Jews, which was tasked with communicating the wishes of the Nazis and local collaborating authorities to the Jewish community. The council included Jews who were aware of the Nazis’ atrocities but believed that they would be exempted from them. And they were exempted from persecution—initially.

    Soros was part of the Council briefly before assuming his new identity. He recalled the experience in an interview with the New Yorker: “This was a profoundly important experience for me. My father said, ‘You should go ahead and deliver [the summonses], but tell the people that if they report they will be deported.’ The reply from one man was ‘I am a law-abiding citizen. They can’t do anything to me.’ I told my father, and that was an occasion for a lecture that there are times when you have laws that are immoral, and if you obey them you perish.”

    George’s father Tivadar recalled that after George’s second day on the job, he returned home with a summons, to which Tivadar asked if George knew what it meant. George replied, “I can guess. They’ll be interned.” Tivadar then told him the Jewish Council has no right to give people orders like that, recalling in his memoir Masquerade: The Incredible True Story of How George Soros’ Father Outsmarted the Gestapo:

    “I tried to tell the people I called on not to obey” he [George] said, clearly disappointed that I wouldn’t let him work anymore. He was beginning to enjoy his career as a courier: it was all a big adventure.

    Soros’s biographer echoed similar sentiments, noting that “George had liked the excitement of being a courier but he obeyed his father without complaint.” Soros would later cite this experience as a reason for disliking fellow Jews for being collaborators, while exempting himself.

    During the Nazi occupation, Soros’s father Tivadar Soros obtained papers giving his immediate family Christian identities. He decided to split up the family so that if one of them were outed as Jewish, the rest of the family had a chance of surviving.

    After the family was split up for their own safety, Soros went to live as Sandor Kiss with a man named Baumbach, as arranged by his father. Baumbach was a friend of Tivadar, an official at the Ministry of Agriculture, and a Nazi collaborator. Baumbach played the role of Soros’s godfather. Soros would never acknowledge the role that Baumbach played in likely saving his life, and he died anonymously in 1999. His identity was later revealed in 2018 as Miklós Prohászka.

    The “godfather” had the job of taking inventory of possessions seized from Jewish families—trips that Soros accompanied him on. During an interview Soros gave with 60 Minutes, host Steve Kroft asked, “My understanding is that you went…went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from the Jews.” Some fact-checkers have attempted to “debunk” the implications of this interview by stating that Soros merely tagged along instead of actively participated in persecution—but Soros has no remorse even for doing that.

    “I mean, that’s—that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?” Kroft asked.

    “Not, not at all. Not at all. Maybe as a child you don’t…you don’t see the connection. But it was—it created no—no problem at all,” Soros said emotionlessly.

    “No feeling of guilt,” Kroft replied.

    “No.”

    When asked how he couldn’t sympathize with other Jews being persecuted, Soros sociopathically replied by noting the “humor” in how his behavior then is similar to his behavior in finance, and then employed the old “just following orders” defense.

    “Well, of course…I could be on the other side or I could be the one from whom the thing is being taken away. But there was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was—well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in the markets—that if I weren’t there—of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would—would—would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the—whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the—I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt.”
