This is a breaking news alert….
In a stunning turn of events, Matt Gaetz has pulled his name from consideration for the Attorney General role.
The announcement came from Gaetz himself of X:

I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback – and the incredible support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1.
I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history. I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me to lead the Department of Justice and I’m certain he will Save America.

This leaves two major questions….
First, Gaetz already resigned from Congress, so now what does he do?
We lose Gaetz in Congress and we lose him as Attorney General?
Where does he go now?
If Congress won’t approve him for Attorney General, they won’t approve him for any other post either, so where does President Trump slot Matt Gaetz now?
I have just one thought on all of this….
It doesn’t make any sense.
You don’t resign from Congress and then withdraw from Attorney General and leave yourself stranded unless….this was all part of the plan from the beginning.
One big head fake?
Another classic Trump chess move?
Get the Deep State to fire it’s ammo early on someone who was never going to be AG anyway?
Expose more RINOs?
When Gaetz was selected, I was happy but it did catch me by surprise. I always thought it was going to be Kash. And maybe it always was going to be Kash….
Very interesting that Kash hasn’t been appointed anywhere yet, almost as if he was perfectly saved for the REAL AG pick?
Oh wow….
Second question is closely tied to the first….who do we get as Attorney General now?
My money is on Kash.
Let’s see what happens!
