Well, that was fast.
David Hogg’s days as Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee are already at an end.
Today, the DNC gave him the axe:

The official reason the DNC gave as to why they decided to invalidate Hogg’s election was because of “diversity quotas.”
Apparently, the DNC accidentally elected two ‘privileged’ males as Vice Chairs back in February.
Turns out David Hogg is not DEI enough. Whoops.
One of the female candidates who ran against David Hogg for the role petitioned the DNC to stage a re-do, which they have now granted.
JUST IN: The Democratic National Committee just OVERWHELMING voted to remove David Hogg from his position as Vice Chair, 294 to 99
They cited “diversity quotas” for his removal.

NBC News provided some background:
Because DNC rules require equal gender representation on its executive committee, not including the party chair, the results of previous elections in February meant the DNC had to elect at least one man to its final two vice chair slots. But instead of holding individual votes for each position, one to be filled by a man and one by a candidate of any gender, the party decided to hold one single vote to decide who took the final two slots.
Oklahoma Democratic Committeewoman Kalyn Free, who unsuccessfully ran against Hogg and Kenyatta in the February vice chair race, petitioned the DNC for a redo, claiming the decision to combine the ballots unfairly benefitted Hogg and Kenyatta over the female candidates who were eligible to win the final vice chair slot.
Now, that’s the official reason why the DNC removed David Hogg as Vice Chair.
However, the decision comes after a lot of internal conflict between Hogg and Democrats over his activist group claims called ‘Leaders We Deserve.’
You see, after being elected to the role of DNC Vice Chair, Hogg immediately began threatening to unseat sitting Democrats using his group.
Politico explained:
In April, Hogg announced the group that he co-founded, Leaders We Deserve, planned to drop $20 million on safe-seat Democratic primaries, hoping to oust “asleep-at-the-wheel” Democrats. The move triggered a wave of anger from elected officials and DNC members alike, who vented that Hogg’s role as a party leader conflicted with the decision to take on incumbents.
The internal drama exploded again over the weekend, when POLITICO reported on leaked audio from a DNC meeting in which Chair Ken Martin told Hogg and other DNC leaders that his leadership has suffered due to the clash. The vice chair, Martin said, had “essentially destroyed any chance I have” to show national leadership.
ADVERTISEMENTSeveral of the DNC leaders who participated in the call expressed support for Martin and accused Hogg or his supporters of leaking it. Hogg, for his part, denied he shared it.
Now, the DNC will hold a new elections for the two vice chair roles — the vote for the new male vice chair will take place from June 12 to June 14 and then vote for a second vice chair of any gender from June 15 to June 17.
As you may have guessed, Democrats really didn’t like Hogg’s idea of sweeping generational change in the party…
Interestingly, the DNC’s decision to remove Hogg also comes after Project Veritas dropped a video of him admitting who was the real authority in the White House during Joe Biden’s sham presidency:
| BREAKING: David Hogg just got REMOVED from his position as Vice Chair by the DNC in a 294–99 vote, citing “diversity quotas.”
But here’s the kicker…
In a previous Veritas bombshell, Hogg exposed Jill Biden’s Chief of Staff Anthony Bernal as the real power behind the Biden… pic.twitter.com/jSt9GrJLxT

Coincidence?
Now, technically, David Hogg could have run again in the new DNC Vice Chair elections.
However, shortly after the vote today, Hogg announced that he will not seek re-election.
Hogg announced that he is dropping out of the race in a series of posts on X:
I’m not running for the new DNC Vice Chair election:

Instead, Hogg will be focusing on work with his activist group:
Ultimately, I have decided to not run in this upcoming election so the party can focus on what really matters. I need to do this work with Leaders We Deserve, and it is going to remain my number one mission to build the strongest party possible.

The New York Times reported:
In a letter provided to The Times, Mr. Hogg outlined his reasoning for quitting party leadership rather than running again for vice chair.
“I came into this role to play a positive role in creating the change our party needs,” he wrote. “It is clear that there is a fundamental disagreement about the role of a Vice Chair — and it’s OK to have disagreements. What isn’t OK is allowing this to remain our focus when there is so much more we need to be focused on.”
This guy wins the internet:
Damn the Hogg got slaughtered
