Democrat Representative Gets Re-Election in California, But Is The State As Red As They Claim?

After over a week, Democrat Rep. Jim Costa takes the win after an extended ballot count.

His fight was against Republican challenger Michael Maher.

Costa’s win continues his decades-long hold on California’s 21st District.

And with many in that state wanting change, how is voting for the same guy since 2005 going to accomplish that?

Along with the fact that California is a non-ID voting state (and all non-ID states voted blue) it makes you question the accuracy of the outcome.

Fox News reports:

Longtime Rep. Jim Costa, D-Calif., has won re-election in California’s 21st Congressional District after more than a week of counting ballots, according to the Associated Press.

He successfully kept his seat against Republican challenger Michael Maher.

The race was one of the final pending House races of the 2024 cycle, called more than a week after Election Day.

Costa has represented the district since 2005, which includes the San Joaquin Valley, but the Democrat’s political work in California stretches back decades.

Did he really win California?

Is California really blue?

If it’s not, that could call his election into question.

I don’t believe those numbers are correct.

Why?

Because CA is a non ID state.

What a coincidence that ALL non ID states voted blue.

The red wave was a lot bigger than was reported.
