Details Released On Death Of Biden Appointed U.S. Attorney


Virginia police have released details regarding the death of former U.S. Attorney Jessica Aber.

Former U.S. Attorney Jessica Aber, who was the top prosecutor for the Eastern District of Virginia, died of natural causes, according to Virginia police.

In a statement, police wrote, “While the investigation into the death of Ms. Jessica Aber is ongoing, at this time, detectives have found no evidence suggesting that her death was caused by anything other than natural causes.”

Aber was only 43 years old.

Virginia police looking into the death of former U.S. Attorney Jessica Aber say everything they have found points to natural causes.

The investigation into the death of Aber, who was the top prosecutor for the Eastern District of Virginia for over three years, will remain open until the medical examiner’s office issues a final ruling, Alexandria police said Tuesday.

“While the investigation into the death of Ms. Jessica Aber is ongoing, at this time, detectives have found no evidence suggesting that her death was caused by anything other than natural causes,” police said in a statement.

Aber, 43, was found by police officers who were called on a report of an unresponsive person at around 9:20 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Police believe she died because of a long-standing medical issue, a friend of the family has told NBC News.

The former U.S. attorney who was found dead in Alexandria, Virginia, over the weekend is believed to have died from “natural causes,” according to police.

The body of Jessica D. Aber, 43, was discovered at a home in Alexandria on Saturday, but the Alexandria Police Department say they have discovered no evidence of foul play.

“At this time, detectives have found no evidence suggesting that her death was caused by anything other than natural causes,” police said in a statement Tuesday.

Authorities continue to investigate, and police say the case will remain open until the medical examiner returns a final ruling on her manner of death. Police also urged the public to respect the privacy of Aber’s family.
