Multiple workers sustained injuries after an oil rig explosion in Bradley, Oklahoma.

“Emergency crews are on the scene in Bradley, Oklahoma, after an oil rig caught fire and exploded. Officials report that the incident was likely caused by a blowback on the rig. Four people were injured, and three of them were transported to local hospitals with burn injuries after an explosion at an oil site in Bradley, according to Grady County officials.

Authorities say that the scene is on County Street 2920 north of State Highway 19.

According to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office, the incident was caused by ‘a blowback on a rig’.

The Grady County Sheriff’s Office said individuals were transported to a Lindsay hospital.

It was immediately clear how severe those injuries were. Additional details about what caused the explosion have not yet been released.

A second fire at the site was reignited on Monday afternoon, according to fire officials. Crews are containing the fire until staff from the oil company arrive from Texas.

The Grady County Fire Department said Red Rock is the name of the company that owns the oilfield site.
