President Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), announced their first rally together since the ticket’s official announcement.
The two will hold a rally Saturday in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
It will be the first rally for President Trump since the attempt on his life at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Detroit Free Press reports:
The Trump campaign announced the former president and Vance will hold a rally in Grand Rapids on Saturday, with doors opening at 1 p.m. and the program scheduled to being at 5 p.m. The rally, which is open to the public, will take place at Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids.
The campaign’s selection of Michigan as the first state to hold a rally with both Trump and Vance is a signal of the state’s importance in this fall’s election — Trump believes he can claim Michigan like he did in 2016, flipping it back after President Joe Biden won the state by around 154,000 votes in 2020. Michigan is part of the so-called “Blue Wall” along with Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, as the three states are generally seen as key for any Democratic candidate in a presidential election. Trump winning any or all of the states would likely mean a victory over Biden.

Per RSBN:
President Donald J. Trump will embody the ultimate image of strength and resilience when he holds his first rally since Butler, Pennsylvania, where a shooter attempted to assassinate him.
In Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday, July 20, President Trump and newly-minted running mate JD Vance will rally Americans just days after accepting the Republican nomination for President and Vice President of the United States of America.
The soon-to-be 47th President of the United States will not miss a beat on the campaign trail even as he recovers from a bullet wound on his ear. He will fearlessly rally the people of Michigan who “have suffered greatly thanks to crooked Joe Biden’s failed policies,” a statement from the campaign read.
RSBN said it would provide all-day live coverage starting around 10am ET.
