Fans Concerned When 87-Year Old Morgan Freeman Is Seen At New TV Festival

Morgan Freeman is truly one of the good guys in Hollywood…

A legend.

And solid values.

So I was concerned to see this recently:

As you watch the video, you can see his left hand has a glove on it.

And you can also see that there is a Community Note attached to the post that reads as follows:

But is that true?

I say not so fast.

Look, the man is 87 years old and he looks FANTASTIC if you ask me!

But are fans concerned about the hand?

I certainly was when I saw it.

Also, let’s discuss whether it’s just a “compression glove”.

I don’t know….

When I watch the video it sure looks like a fake hand to me.

It doesn’t move the way a normal hand would that just has a glove over it.

It looks “dead” or “fake” to me.

Again, not picking on the man, he’s 87 years old and doing great!

But is it just a “compression glove”?

It doesn’t look that way to me.

Others seem to agree with what I’m seeing….this guy believes Morgan Freeman lost his hand:

Still, most posts promote the story that it is simply to control pain due either to a prior car crash or fibromyalgia, or both.

Either way, I hope he continues to stay well and thriving!

You look great Mr. Freeman!

Morgan Freeman Breaks Ranks, Shocks Hollywood: “I Am NOT in the Least Bit for Defunding the Police”

Is Morgan Freeman about to get the Nicki Minaj treatment from the media?

The respected actor has broken ranks with the Hollywood elite.

But that’s not all, he has also broken ranks with the BLM talking points.

In a recent interview, Morgan Freeman revealed that he is NOT for defunding the police.

Not even a little bit.

In act, Freeman is VERY against the idea of defunding the police “in the least bit.”

This makes Freeman one of the most high profile Hollywood celebrities to speak out against BLM.

And to make things even more interesting, Freeman himself is a black man.

More details below:

As if that wasn’t enough, Morgan Freeman appeared to DEFEND the police.

He commended the excellent job that they are doing.

Freeman also said that the police are “necessary.”

Newsmax confirms Freeman’s statements:

Famed Black actor and producer Morgan Freeman has come out to denounce efforts to defund the police.

“I am not in the least bit for defunding the police,” Freeman told Black Enterprise’s Selena Hill, a self-described supporter for the defund the police movement, in an interview posted on Instagram.

“Police work is, aside from all the negativity around it, it is very necessary for us to have them and most of them are guys that are doing their job. They’re going about their day-to-day jobs.

“There are some police that would never pull their guns except in range, that sort of thing.”

Freeman’s film “The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain” details the true 2011 story of a former Marine with bipolar disorder who was killed by police after accidentally triggering his medical alert device, leading to a confrontation with police that led to his death.

“I’m Black,” Freeman told The Associated Press last month. “People don’t seem to recognize that. Being so, and raised in the south, I watched the impunity in which Black men, young men, had been killed by law enforcement – quote.”

Freeman, who said he is not treated like an everyday Black man because of his celebrity status, has helped start a program at the University of Mississippi to enter for Evidence-Based Policing and Reform.

Actor Frankie Faison, who plays Chamberlain in the film, echoed Freeman’s remarks on reforming the police instead of defunding them.

“Well, I agree with Morgan,” Faison told Hill. “I’m certainly not in favor of defunding the policemen.”

Want to hear Morgan Freeman in his own words?

Here’s a video clip from the Associated Press.

Morgan Freeman isn’t known for speaking out on politics.

He’s one of the few actors who keeps his political beliefs to himself.

For him to speak out on this topic is a HUGE development for the conservative movement.

Breitbart has some more details:

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman says he rejects the “defund the police” movement because police are necessary, and most officers are doing a good job.

In a Thursday interview with Black Enterprise magazine’s Selena Hill, the Driving Miss Daisy star said he is “not in the least bit” in favor of taking money away from America’s police departments.

“I’m not in the least bit for defunding the police,” Freeman said. “Police work is, aside from all the negativity around it, it is very necessary for us to have them, and most of them are guys that are doing their job. They’re going about their day-to-day jobs. There are some police the never pulled their guns except in rage, that sort of thing. I don’t know.”

Along with co-star Frankie Faison, Freeman was promoting his new film, The Killing Of Kenneth Chamberlain. The film follows the aftermath of the police-involved shooting of Faison’s character, an elderly, black, U.S. veteran.

For his part, Faison agreed with Freeman, saying, “I’m certainly not in favor of defunding policemen.”

Freeman has put his money where his mouth is, as well. Along with his disinterest in supporting the defund the police movement, Freeman donated a million dollars to an effort to train police officers for community engagement.

The actor gave his gift to the University of Mississippi in June to help establish the Center for Evidence-Based Policing and Reform. The new department intends to help train police from Mississippi and elsewhere to better engage the community in crime prevention and conflict resolution.

“Look at the past year in our country – that sums it up,” Freeman was quoted as saying in the university’s press release. “It’s time we are equipping police officers with training and ensuring law enforcement is not defined only as a gun and a stick. Policing should be about that phrase ‘To Serve’ found on most law enforcement vehicles.”

Freeman has shown his support for the police before. Back in 2016 he happily posed for photos with a grin and a thumbs up with several officers in New Mexico when he was there filming Villa Capri.

First it was Nicki Minaj.

Now, it’s Morgan Freeman.

Are more Hollywood celebrities about to break ranks and talk about common sense politics?

Only time will tell.

But until then, it’s important that we show support for Morgan Freeman and Nicki Minaj so that other celebrities find the courage to speak out!
