The FBI raided the multi-million dollar home of a former aide to New York Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Sources said federal agents raided the Long Island home of Linda Sun, one of the Democrat governor’s former deputy chiefs of staff.

The purpose of the raid was unclear.
No arrests were made.

A heavy law enforcement presence was spotted outside the property for the duration of the raid, though it wasn’t immediately clear if the feds seized anything.
The couple had owned the expansive home that was raided until transferring it into a trust in March, property records show.
Sun has worked in various government roles across the Empire State for 15 years — including both the Hochul and ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo administrations, according to her LinkedIn profile.
While working as a Hochul aide, Sun focused on business development, Asian American affairs, and diversity, equity and inclusion, her profile shows.
Sun, who attended both Barnard College and Columbia University, left her executive chamber role after 15 months and took a job with the New York State Department of Labor in 2022.
“After leaving state government, Sun went to work as campaign manager for Democrat Austin Cheng in an unsuccessful run for Congress on Long Island,” NBC New York noted.

Per NBC New York:
She served as deputy superintendent for Intergovernmental Affairs & chief diversity officer at the NYS Department of Financial Services. Sun has also served as deputy chief diversity officer and director of Asian American Affairs for the NYS Executive Chamber, director of external affairs for Global NY at Empire State Development and chief of Staff to NYS Assemblymember Grace Meng.
In Nov. 2022, she moved to a job at the New York Department of Labor where she served as deputy commissioner for strategic business development, but she departed that job just months later in March of 2023, the profile said.
A person familiar with the circumstances of her departure said she was fired after evidence of misconduct was discovered. The matter was forwarded to law enforcement at the time, according to the person, who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to publicly discuss personnel matters. The person declined to detail the nature of the alleged misconduct.
