Here’s Why Dr. Phil Just WENT OFF On Ilhan Omar: ‘Kick Her A** To The Curb!’

Despite rising to fame under the wing of leftist talk show host Oprah Winfrey, long-time “Dr. Phil” host Phil McGraw has been transparent about some of his more conservative views in recent years.

This week, he spoke out forcefully against some of the controversial rhetoric emanating from the far-left flank of the Democratic Party.

In particular, he pointed to Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) as an example of the type of anti-American sentiment that he finds so contemptible.

McGraw’s remarks came in response to Omar’s claim last month that the US was becoming “one of the worst countries,” as the Daily Caller reported:

“You can’t make this up. Who are we talking about here? Omar fled Somalia — a failed state, a country ravaged by civil war, corruption and poverty — and she spent years in a Kenyan refugee camp,” Dr. Phil said. “I hate that for her. I really do. She resettled in the U.S. as a refugee — so happy for her. She was given housing, afforded education, opportunity, freedom. She became a citizen in 2000 at 17. Again, so happy for her. Thank God she escaped that terrible life.”

“And she was elected to Congress, one of the first Muslim women in the House. The American Dream,” he continued. “She has every reason to be thankful. Is she? Not even almost! Instead, she spends her time bashing the very country that saved her and her family.”

Dr. Phil further characterized Omar’s rhetoric as “disgusting.”

“She has the right to say what she’s saying. Culturally, psychologically, I think it’s disgusting. But does she have the right to say it? Yeah, she does — just like I have the right to say it’s absolutely disgusting!” he said. “And whoever voted for her now knows who they voted for and should kick her ass to the curb!”

He wasn’t the only one who had a problem with Omar’s comments:

Here’s how the New York Post reported on the Minnesota Democrat’s controversial remarks:

“I mean, I grew up in a dictatorship and I don’t even remember ever witnessing anything like that to have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world to now be turned into one of the, you know, one of the worst countries, where the military are in our streets without any regard for people’s constitutional rights,” Omar said in an interview published Friday on Democracy Now!’s YouTube page.

Omar, who was born in Somalia, referenced President Donald Trump’s military parade on Saturday that commemorated the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.

The parade also fell on Flag Day and Trump’s 79th birthday and was meant to honor America. Omar, whose interview took place before the parade, was unimpressed.

“Our president is spending millions of dollars [propping] himself up like a failed dictator with a military parade,” Omar said of the then-upcoming parade.
