“Liver King” Arrested For “Terroristic Threats” After Bizarre Trip To See Joe Rogan

It pains me to have to write this because I always liked the Liver King, but it appears as though he is in need of serious professional help.

The Liver King was officially arrested by Austin Police after posting several threatening videos about Joe Rogan and then flying down to Austin seemingly to meet up with him and fight him.

The recent videos have also shown the Liver King crawling around on the floor like an animal.

Oddly enough, it seems as though his wife is in many of these videos as well as his staff, and no one seems to think any of it is strange.

But the Austin Police thought it was strange, charging him with making “terroristic threats” to Joe Rogan:

Here’s a quick summary of all the strange details:

  • Brian Johnson, aka the Liver King, was arrested in Austin, TX, on June 25, 2025, after posting multiple threatening Instagram videos directed at Joe Rogan.

  • In the videos, Johnson challenged Rogan to a fight, saying things like “I’m picking a fight with you, man to man” and referencing Rogan’s black belt in jiu-jitsu.

  • Johnson traveled to Austin, where Rogan lives and records his podcast, prompting police action.

  • Austin police contacted Rogan, who stated he had never interacted with Johnson, considered the posts threatening, and believed Johnson appeared mentally unstable.

  • Johnson was arrested at the Four Seasons Hotel and charged with making a terroristic threat, a Class B misdemeanor.

  • He was later released from jail, but continued posting videos, referencing a restraining order, an ankle monitor, and a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation.

  • Johnson became famous for promoting the “ancestral lifestyle”, which includes eating raw animal organs. He has been criticized by health experts and admitted in 2023 to using steroids and HGH, contrary to his original claims.

  • Rogan had previously discussed Johnson’s steroid use on his podcast, but never hosted him as a guest.

    There are literally dozens more, still up on his profile.

    For years, people accused the Liver King of taking steroids — a claim he vehemently denied.

    Then, two years ago, he came clean admitting to rampant steroid use:

    Many are noticing his one eye has a much larger pupil than his other eye:

    And his mouth now appears to be blue:

    But the Liver King has been public about recent damage done to his right eye.

  • Liver King (Brian Johnson) suffered a serious eye injury in 2023 when a resistance band snapped and struck him in the face, knocking him unconscious.

  • He temporarily lost vision in both eyes, with his right eye suffering a severe retinal detachment requiring emergency surgeries.

  • Doctors warned he would likely lose central vision in the right eye and may need future surgeries for cataracts or further retinal issues.
