Tel Aviv Levin, Tel Aviv Levin is very—he’s big mad.
Oh, he’s big mad. Big mad ’cause he didn’t—as a, uh, as a, uh, as a spokesperson, as a spokesmodel for a foreign nation—they didn’t get what they want, President Trump.
And you saw, you saw why Bibi can’t be trusted and Netanyahu can’t be trusted.
Yesterday, they took the—uh—the ceasefire was as much to save Israel. That’s the hidden story here.
They bit off way more than they could chew.
They were played out as far—yesterday was a brutal day for the citizens of Israel.
Took horrible incomings, particularly in Tel Aviv, and I guess Beersheba also.
They needed this ’cause they were running out of defensive, uh, ammunition.
And President s—Trump stepped in there with the help of Qatar.
Look, uh, you know, we came—we’ve come a long way since 7 years ago when Qatar, uh, you know, d—d—w—w—would not work with us on stopping the financing of, uh, Islamic terrorism, the financing of it.
And they’ve come a long way.
They’ve stepped in the middle of the situation in Gaza and they stepped in the middle here, and President Trump is going out of his way to praise them.
And he’s not going out of his way to praise Netanyahu’s government, uh, which I think is getting to be an issue.
When President Trump puts out the kind of Truth Socials he’s put out today, target—you know, focus on the Netanyahu government, you ought to take those as a papal bull.
He’s tired of it. He’s tired of the nonsense.
There’s not gonna be regime change.
Your—your whole strategy for this, which was regime change from the very beginning—if it happens, it’s going to be the Persian people that do it, which is, should be the way to go.
And I’m not—the ayatollahs are as bad as they get.
Speaker: Mark Caputo
Mark Caputo from Axios, you join us.
Your reporting on this has been pretty extraordinary.
Can you talk to us morning about, uh, particularly this phone call, which I think you’re the only person reporting it, is this phone call, uh, with, uh, between the President of United States and, uh, and Netanyahu?
Well, in fairness, others have.
And from what we were told by senior administration officials is—and they said this in diplomatic language, uh, on background—that Trump called and relayed his concerns in very strong terms, and that Prime Minister Netanyahu said he understood those concerns.
Now, when I spoke to one of my sources—who I’m trying to make sure to protect them, called them a Trump advisor—and said, “Boy, it sounded like Bibi got his asshole ripped by Donald Trump.”
They said, “Yeah, pretty much.”
Now, you saw and you’ve seen Donald Trump angry.
You’ve been in private rooms with him.
You know what that’s like.
So I would imagine that ride on that Marine One helicopter after Trump departed the White House was probably one of those situations where aides are just gonna stay away from the president and make sure he cools off ’cause his blood was up.
Speaker: Steve Bannon
And—No.
I think—H—hold it, Caputo.
It’s Caputo.
You’ve been on this beat—that—you’ve been on this beat for a long time.
I’ve never seen the president that mad.
I’ve never seen him that mad to drop an F bomb like that.
I’ve never seen—I’ll add—way he’s addressing Netanyahu.
He’s furious because he’s put it all on the line.
He got—He worked—he had to work with Qatar.
They got a—and by—this was to save Israel.
Netanyahu jeopardized Israel and the people of Israel.
They’re the ones taking the big incomings tomorrow.
Persia’s 100 million people, it’s 3 times the size of Texas.
They can take a lot of beating.
Israel’s tiny, it’s a strip of land on the sea and nine million people.
They’re taking—and, and, and the dome ain’t working.
I mean, they’re running out of ammo.
I’m not saying it’s not working, they just got too many ballistic missiles coming at them.
President Trump did that—for him and his government, and now they’re trying to—and now they’re trying to get in every lick they can possibly get.
And Trump’s not gonna have it.
He doesn’t play that way.
He says—you know, his big thing is no games.
I mean, you’ve seen him, Mark.
Have you ever seen him this mad?
Speaker: Mark Caputo
I have not seen him this mad.
I mean, he was—he was infuriated.
As I said, I—I don’t envy anyone being on that Marine One helicopter ride with him afterward.
However, it appears that it was message delivered and message accepted.
This is the Middle East.
It’s difficult to stop people from killing each other when they want to kill each other.
And if Trump pulls this off, if this happens, it’s gonna be quite a feat.
No, he’s put it all on the line here.
