Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sparked online buzz with his Thanksgiving cooking tip.
He posted a video of himself deep-frying a turkey in beef tallow—barefoot, gloveless, and in short sleeves, like a normal, everyday American.
He’s calling it “the MAHA way,” RFK Jr.
The internet loved it, with reactions ranging from “America is so back” to awe at his risky cooking style.
But there were some that got upset because he wasn’t wearing gloves.
Some even thought it was going to blow up. Little do they know that only occurs if you use a frozen turkey, not a thawed one.

Washington Examiner reports:
Health and Human Services director nominee Robert F. Kennedy Jr. showcased how to “cook the MAHA way” with a video deep frying a turkey.
“This is how we cook the MAHA way,” Kennedy said in a video posted on X, explaining that he was cooking the turkey entirely in beef tallow.
The video was notable for the number of safety precautions eschewed by Kennedy, such as dipping the turkey in the oil without gloves and in short sleeves and taking it out while not wearing any footwear.
“This is the dangerous part,” he said while slowly lowering the turkey into the deep fryer.
“Put it in very slowly. Wait until it stops making noise,” he said over the boiling.
He jokingly asked wife Sheryl Hines if she wanted any, to which she replied that she doesn’t eat turkey.
“That’s gonna be delicious,” he said after showing the result 40 minutes later.

Be sure the turkey is completely thawed before attempting this.
Here’s a video showing what happens if you put a frozen turkey in a deep fryer.
Thank you @RenoFireDept for including us in the annual turkey fry demonstration. Don’t drop a frozen turkey into a deep fryer….just don’t do it. And never leave the fryer unattended, or any Thanksgiving cooking for that matter. Stay safe and enjoy the feast. pic.twitter.com/D4K6p4W4u7
