Senator Reveals CLASSIFIED Air Force Plan for President Trump’s Qatar Plane

Everyone knows President Trump is poised to accept (on behalf of the Defense Department, of course) a ‘gift’ from Qatar.

An ultra-luxury Boeing 747 jet worth a reported $400 Million is being offered, pending legal fine-tuning.

And by this time, you’ve heard all the arguments for and against it.

It’s dangerous, but they’ll go over it with a fine-tooth comb.

It’s illegal, except… no, not really.

Well, ALMOST all of the arguments.

Senator Mike Rounds, who previously served as the Governor of South Dakota, almost divulged classified information on Monday regarding the potential luxury gift from Qatar’s ruling family.

He stopped himself just short of getting in to specific details, but not before he gave enough information to paint a fairly accurate picture.

The Senator made the comments in defense of President Trump’s plan to accept the gift while being interviewed by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

Senator Rounds did divulge that the Air Force has a plan regarding the plane.

Which, to hear Rounds tell it, characterizes the Qatari plane as a critical piece of the puzzle in the process of transitioning to the future Boeing Air Force One planes — not just some luxurious side quest.

The Senator alluded to talks between Senators and the Air Force, during which Congress was presumably let in on the “still classified” plan, according to a report in Huffpost:

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) on Monday teased “a logic that a lot of people aren’t talking about yet” which may help sway public opinion over President Donald Trump’s controversial plan to accept a luxury $400 million jumbo jet — to be temporarily used as Air Force One — from Qatar’s ruling family.

Collins had earlier asked Rounds if he was “ethically and optically” comfortable “with the president flying on a plane that was gifted to him by Qatar?”

“We’ve had a chance to talk to some of the folks in the Air Force, and the Air Force actually does have a plan to be able to work through this,” he claimed.

“And I’m not gonna get into it because a lot of it’s still classified, but there is a logic that a lot of people aren’t talking about yet. And I probably shouldn’t be breaking that story,” Rounds added.

The Senator said he wouldn’t get into the specifics.  Except, he DID get in to it, at least a little.

And though I doubt this qualifies as divulging state secrets or disclosing classified information…

You can certainly use your imagination to picture the multiple systems being built for multiple planes, along with the process and time that entails, if you listen to Rounds dance around the specifics of the plan.

He may not have gotten in to the specifics, but he did outline the general nature of the classified plan.

The Air Force is apparently very interested in using the plane while they shift different systems and technologies from the existing 747 to the newer planes, as they come on line.

But he also alluded to possible benefits of being able to build “items” in to the existing 747’s, and later move them to the newer planes — which I presume would only be possible if the President wasn’t USING the older 747’s at the time.

Rounds said more details are “forthcoming”, but much of the plan remains classified, according to The Hill:

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) said Monday he’s talked to Air Force officials about a plan to use the jet Qatar gifted to President Trump as a helpful transition from the old Boeing 747 jet to the upgraded aircraft.

“I think there may very well be an argument made that, as we transition from the old 747, which are still in service, to the new 747, there’s a number of items that have to be included in each of the 747s,” he said.

“If we can build some of that and then transition it out of one 747 and then into the new one, there may very well be some benefits to that, while the old 747s are still flying,” the senator continued.

Rounds said details of the plans are forthcoming, noting much of it is “still classified, but there is a logic that a lot of people aren’t talking about yet. And I probably shouldn’t be breaking that story.”

Not surprisingly, while researching this story I stumbled upon another bit of information the mainstream media has been slow to pick up on.

Would you believe that talks between Qatar and the United States regarding the potential gift — which Democrats have used to attack President Trump incessantly — were actually initiated during the Biden Administration?

So in reality, not only is there a very practical and necessary Air Force plan that calls for the plane from Qatar to be used in transitioning to newer planes (if they ever get built…).

But the entire situation has been negotiated for a YEAR, according to Senator Mullin, and talks were started during the Biden Administration!

No wonder there’s a CLASSIFIED Air Force plan; this thing has been in the works for over a year!

Leave it to the Biden Administration to drag their feet for a year on a GREAT DEAL…

Only to blame President Trump as if he did something wrong after he comes behind them and FINISHES THE DEAL which the Biden Administration apparently fumbled!

What a great metaphor to summarize the entire Biden Administration leading in to the current Trump Administration!

Biden fumbled, gets benched… Trump enters the game… and starts making touchdowns again.
