President Donald Trump sailed into his second term with the support of voters from various backgrounds and communities.
Perhaps the most notable demographic gain he made came from Black voters, who voted Republican in atypically high numbers last year.
Holy smokes!
Donald Trump has DOUBLED his support among Black men in Georgia from 2020.
“He was at 11% in 2020 and now at 25%, according to these two surveys today.”

While much of that support came from voters who resonated with Trump’s agenda, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith recently opined that it was also driven by generations of increasing extremism within the Democratic Party.
His remarks came during an interview with Newsmax’s Rob Schmitt, according to the Daily Caller:
“A lot of us obviously vote Democratic, but we live very conservative lives. We come from very conservative households. Our parents raised us in a certain way where you can’t come into the home with that kind, with such nonsense when you talk to your mother, your father,” Smith told Schmitt.
“Somehow, some way, inexplicably specifically since 1964, I should say inexplicably since the civil rights legislation, obviously they’ve had the Democratic vote. The Democratic Party has had a black vote for the vast majority of that period. But in the end, looking at all of those things, I just felt that it became a bit crazy and quite frankly a bit unfair.”
Smith then discussed what he said were political extremes.
“It just got a bit sickening in the bit, the extremes, the fringes. So many people talked about the MAGA right. I was like ‘What about the progressive left? What are we doing here? Are we not paying attention to the type of stuff that’s going on, folks talking about the economy?’” Smith asked. ‘”Are they looking at the border and seeing 12 plus million people cross the border legally and bringing that up?’ No. There’s no problem at the border whatsoever. Everything was great.”
There has been no shortage of evidence that Black Americans have been abandoning the Democratic Party in droves:

The support for Donald Trump is reaching astronomical levels. The awareness that Trump is NOT a racist and in fact, on the side of black Americans has never been more clear (The Like count proves it)

For his part, Smith has been an outspoken critic of the Democratic Party’s extreme leftward lurch for a while.
Shortly after the election, he weighed in on the NFL’s response to apparently pro-Trump celebrations by some players.
As Fox News reported, he suggested the entire controversy was essentially manufactured by “woke” activists on the left:
“Here’s why I’m p—ed off, that the NFL had to even issue a statement about it. Because celebrations usually don’t warrant that,” he said on his YouTube show. It doesn’t require a response from the league. So why was it necessary this time? You know why? Because we got a bunch of people still living with their heads in the cloud acting like they get to protest every little damn thing.
“This is America. Donald Trump won the election, rather convincingly, I might add…”
Smith later blamed “woke” and “cancel culture” for the NFL feeling the need to discuss the celebrations — and credited those for Trump’s victory.
“And why am I ticked off? Because it was emblematic of the climate that we’ve been living in for years now, which is why I believe Donald Trump was really elected… woke culture, cancel culture, oh hell yes, that played a role. When you got people walking around wondering whether or not they’re echoing the right pronoun. Wondering whether or not that was gonna cost them their job or being PC because, God forbid, your opinion is different than the average folk walking around in America. Lord knows what would happen to you. That’s what America regressed to,” he said.
