[WARNING – GRAPHIC FOOTAGE] Suspected Child Predator Shot And Killed By Police After Pulling Firearm At Hotel


Video footage captured the moment Seattle police shot and killed a suspected child predator after he pulled out a firearm at a hotel.

“An investigation is underway after a suspect was shot and killed by Seattle Police during an attempted arrest at the DoubleTree Suites Hilton Hotel in Southcenter,” FOX 13 Seattle reports.

The 67-year-old suspect was being investigated by the state's Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce and allegedly was attempting to meet up with two girls ages 7 and 11.

Newly-released bodycam video shows three police officers emerge from a room and speak to the suspect, who appears to immediately pull out a gun. The second the gun is visible, a gunshot can be heard.

A police officer is heard yelling, “Gun!”

Within seconds, the officers begin firing into the suspect, who falls to the ground. It is unclear how many shots are fired, but one of the officers is seen loading another magazine into his firearm.

One officer was grazed by a bullet in the leg. Their injuries were minor and they were not taken to the hospital.

No one else was injured.

The shooting is being investigated by the Force Investigation Team (FIT), per protocol.

A Seattle Police officer was injured, and a suspect killed during a police operation in the DoubleTree hotel on Southcenter Parkway in Tukwila just after 3 p.m. Wednesday.

“Earlier today, officers were conducting an Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce operation. During that operation, an officer-involved shooting occurred,” said a release from the Seattle Police Department.
