President Trump is getting a head start campaigning against Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) during the midterm elections after a pro-Trump super PAC released a $1 million ad against the Kentucky Republican.
The ad follows a lengthy Truth Social post from Trump saying “we will have a wonderful American Patriot running against him (Massie) in the Republican Primary, and I’ll be out in Kentucky campaigning really hard.”
Trump’s team then launched Kentucky MAGA to spearhead the effort to primary Massie.

Per Axios:
The ads will be concentrated on Fox News and broadcast TV stations in the Cincinnati and Louisville markets.
It will also be airing digitally, aimed at targeted Republican voters.
The spot concludes by saying that Massie, an anti-interventionist who was critical of Trump's decision to strike Iran, "sided" with with the country's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The spot flashes an image of Massie alongside Khamenei and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), a pair of prominent liberals who also criticized Trump for attacking Iran.
The ad also targets Massie for voting against Trump-backed legislation aimed at cutting taxes and funding border security.
"Let's fire Thomas Massie," the ad says.

In addition to the Trump team blasting Massie, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is seeking candidates to challenge the Kentucky Republican in the primary.
"Will lobbyists for a FOREIGN country be able to buy a seat in Congress? That’s the question in my re-election," Massie's campaign account stated.

Daily Caller reports:
AIPAC has been actively recruiting candidates to run in a primary against Massie, a source familiar told the Daily Caller.
ADVERTISEMENT“I’m aware that foreign lobbyists have conducted a push poll and are trying to recruit another candidate to run against me, due to my opposition to foreign aid and forever wars,” Massie said in a statement sent to the Caller.
“Their previous efforts have failed completely, and I expect this race to be no different,” he added.
Massie has been a leading voice against U.S. involvement in Israel’s war with Iran.
He opposed the recent U.S. strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling Trump’s actions unconstitutional, but stated on Monday that he does not support Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s effort to impeach Trump over the attack.
