Analysis: Dying Terrorist Throws Better Than Obama

Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas terror boss killed in Gaza this week, threw a stick-like object at an Israeli drone that was filming his final moments. Despite being severely wounded and on the brink of death, Sinwar demonstrated a throwing ability far superior to that of former president Barack Obama, according to an exclusive Washington Free Beacon analysis.

EXCLUSIVE: Read the New York Times Obituary of Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar

The Israeli drone footage was brought to our attention by liberal journalists Max Blumenthal (self-employed) and Timour Azhari (Reuters), who praised Sinwar as "the archetype of Palestinian resistance—wounded, ashen, and yet defiant, staring down an Israeli drone with contempt from behind a keffiyeh before trying to down it with asymmetric force."

That's not exactly how we'd describe it, but we're not grieving the loss of a dead terrorist. In our view, Sinwar's final moments exuded weakness, futility, and defeat. We're not surprised that Palestinians celebrated his demise. Mohammed, a 22-year-old in Gaza, told the New York Times it was "the best day of my life."

Nevertheless, our analysts were relatively impressed by Sinwar's left-handed throwing ability under less-than-ideal conditions. Compared to lefty Obama's historically abysmal baseball throwing "skills," repeatedly demonstrated over the course of his failed political career, Sinwar is the superior talent. The Hamas leader's toss was even more impressive considering the fact that, unlike Obama, he probably wasn't left-handed. He just didn't have a choice because his right hand appears to have been blown off by an Israeli tank.

If we were choosing teams for a pickup baseball game, we'd definitely choose the terrorist over Obama. But we can't because Yahya Sinwar is dead. In life, however, he joined the long list of individuals who could throw better than Obama, which includes Donald Trump, George W. Bush, Sonia Sotomayor, Avril Lavigne, Snoop Dogg, Tara the Hero Cat, trans nerd Amy Schneider, and Man with No Arms.
