The United States has been addicted to criminal wars ever since its birth in 1776. Especially since World War II, it has become a global hegemon carrying out coups, assassinations, regime change, invasions in other countries with impunity and getting away with these international crimes.
America’s current criminal bombing of Iran is the culmination of its crimes against that country since 1953.
Then, Iran’s democratically elected president Mohammed Mosaddegh nationalized Iran’s oil resources, rightly declaring that this vital source is for Iranian people, not for international corporations to exploit. At that time for many years, the British oil company The British Petroleum owned Iran’s oil resources. So, Britain lost its massive profits from Iran’s oil sources.

Hence, British PM Winston Churchill persuaded American president Eisenhower to overthrow Iran’s president Mohammed Mosaddegh. Eisenhower complied and carried out a successful coup in Iran in 1953, overthrowing Mosaddegh and replacing him with a puppet dictator named Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi—known as Shah of Iran— who opened up Iran’s resources to the western powers for exploitation.
Thus, Iran’s quarrel with the US dates back since 1953. Shah ruled Iran with an iron fist and had become highly unpopular. Finally, a revolution took place in Iran in 1979, Shah was overthrown and a religious leader, a mullah named Khomeini took over the country. Ever since that time, religious mullahs have been ruling Iran.
Since many years, Iran has been enriching Uranium claiming that they are doing that for future energy resources and for peaceful purposes. Israel and America claim that Iran wants to develop nuclear bombs. They falsely claim that Iran’s nuclear bombs will be a threat to everybody in the Middle East. Even though the real threat comes from Israel who has more than 90 bombs. But Israel does not admit that it has nuclear bombs. It does not say that it does not have nuclear bombs either. It wants to keep this ambiguity. Israel does not want any other country in the Middle East to possess nuclear bombs; otherwise, its dominance in the region will be diminished.
To force Iran not to produce nuclear bombs, the US imposed brutal sanctions on Iran. Then in 2015, Iran and several world powers signed a deal known as The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal. It was an agreement reached in 2015 between Iran and several world powers (the P5+1: China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States). The deal aimed to limit Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. But in May 2018, then President Donald Trump foolishly pulled out of that nuclear deal and imposed further sanctions on that nation.
Thus, the United States, on behalf of Israel was having a lot of friction and enmity with Iran.
Israel is estimated to have 90 nuclear warheads, with fissile material stockpiles for about 200 weapons. That is fine with the United States! How unfair is it? Double standards. What right does America have to deny Iran having nuclear weapons while allowing Israel to possess more than 90 of them?
Unfortunately, America’s Middle East policy is formulated in Tel Aviv, not Washington DC. That is why, in 2003, the United States went to war with Iraq in all likelihood, at the urging of Israel as Iraq was becoming a powerful nation and Israel didn’t want that. What a foolish and disastrous that misadventure turned out to be!
As per the Nobel laureate economist, Stiglitz, Joseph E., and Linda J. Bilmes. “The True Cost of the Iraq War: $3 Trillion and Beyond.” Washington Post, September 5, 2010. More than a million people were killed in that foolish and disastrous war according to some estimates.
Thus, we can see that the United States stupidly goes to illegal and immoral wars every few years with another country. It has become a foolish hegemon for many decades.
And now, to protect Israel, America took a disastrous step on June 21, 2025. It violated Iran’s sovereignty and recklessly bombed Iran’s nuclear sites with 32,000 pounds bunker-busting bombs using its’ B-2 bombers. All this stupidity to help Israel who is carrying out genocide of Palestinian people of Gaza since October 7, 2023, killing thousands of civilians majority of whom are women and children. According to the latest reports by Al Jazeera, some 62, 614 civilians have been killed by Israel so far. America is fully complicit in this genocide without question. It is American arms given to Israel that enables it to carry out this genocide.

Israel’s stranglehold on America was responsible for the Iraq war. The same way, America is risking a horrible war with Iraq at Israel’s urging.
Donald Trump, who has no idea of history, has never read a single book, has foolishly taken this reckless step of bombing Iran–who has done no harm to America— on behalf of an apartheid state of Israel, is risking a horrendous war in the Middle East which can threaten the peace, safety and lives of millions of innocent people.
Unfortunately, Americans usually elect a president who is reckless, arrogant, irresponsible and foolish. US foreign policy in the Middle East is guided by Israel. Netanyahu, a war criminal, finally has tricked the United States into a war with Iran, a country of 90 million. Israel lobby, AIPAC controls most of America’s Senators and Congressmen. They are all afraid of this lobby because if they dare to speak and act against Israel’s interests, AIPAC will throw millions of dollars in the coffers of their opponent in the next election and will defeat them. None of America’s elected leaders —except Bernie Sanders, AOC and a few others— even dare to criticize Israel. What a stranglehold this violent little country has on the world’s most powerful country! What a shame on its leaders! They are all cowards and morally bankrupt.
History will note, wonder and laugh at the foolishness and stupidity of the world’s most powerful country being driven into a war created, guided and controlled by a violent little country who is carrying it out a genocide in Gaza at the same time; a war that could spiral out of control and plunge the Middle East and the world into a global catastrophe.

While a proxy war in Ukraine, created by America’s former foolish president Joe Biden, is raging on since February 2023, America’s another president, more foolish and reckless than any other in its history, is starting a war that could threaten the whole world into a global nightmare.
One wonders when America will change from a war criminal hegemon to a peaceful nation living in peace with all other nations of this world.
America’s elected leaders since many decades —except Kennedy, FDR and Carter— don’t care for its people. They squander billions and trillions of dollars in foolish wars while their middle class and the poor live and suffer in poverty.
As per www.census.gov, some 11.5% or 37.9 million Americans live in poverty in this richest nation in the world.
In 2023, the U.S. child poverty rate, defined as people under 18, was 16.0%, which is 3.5 percentage points higher than the overall poverty rate of 12.5%. This means that approximately one in six children in the U.S. were living in poverty. That means these children don’t have enough food to eat!
On the other hand, the U.S. has spent an estimated $8 trillion on the post-9/11 wars, including the so-called war on terror, according to the Costs of War project at Brown University. This figure encompasses appropriations for military operations, veteran care, and interest on debt incurred to fund these wars. The $8 trillion is a total for the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and other counter-terror operations.
Mind you, all these wars were disastrous and unnecessary.
Today, America spends close to a trillion dollars on its so-called ‘defense Budget’. Defense spending by the United States accounted for nearly 40 percent of all military expenditures by countries around the world in 2024, according to recently released figures from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). In 2024, the United States spent $997 billion on defense, which is more than the next nine countries’ spending combined. In comparison, China, which is the second biggest defense spender, spent $314 billion on military expenditures in 2024.
The United States military maintains a vast network of bases both domestically and overseas. Estimates vary, but the US has around 750 military bases in foreign countries and a significant number within the United States. These bases are spread across more than 80 countries and territories.
This shows how misguided are America’s priorities! Only an empire on rapid decline, in the last years of the Roman and other empires, behaves in this manner.
What did this foolish bombing of Iran by America achieve? It is doubtful that the damage caused by these bunker-buster bombs was severe. Experts say that it simply delayed Iran’s Uranium enrichment process by few months or even a year or two. Also, Iran had already removed its purified Uranium out of these sites.
In fact, this reckless act will actually force Iran to develop nuclear bombs as soon as possible as a deterrence.
Now, Iran will be foolish not to develop few bombs as soon as it can so that America or its ally Israel will never attack it in future just like US cannot attack nuclear power North Korea anymore.
