Please, take heed of what you hear!

God, the impersonal Deity, the awesome Creator of the entire visible and invisible Universe, has not designated “chosen” and non-chosen among peoples.

In the eyes of their Creator all people are equally precious and loved.

On the contrary, Jehovah, the ethnic God of the Jews, to whom their patriarchs projected some of their prejudices and aspirations, does pick “chosen” people, and sign “Testaments” with them, namely the descendants of Abraham and his free wife Sarah but not with those descended from the slave woman Hagar, thus setting up the stage for perpetual hatred and war in the so-called “Holy Land” – which ever since is blood soaked as a cursed land.

However, in order to open up your mind to the Truth, you must first shake off the delusion about the inerrancy of the Bible. I am sure, while studying the “Holy Scriptures” you came across chapters and verses which your inner self did not discern as being the words of God. But due to the Evangelical brain washing you suppressed and dismissed the wise small voice from within, thinking that it was coming from the devil! By systematically doing so, you impaired your spiritual ability to discern truth from lies and today you arrived at the point of being a warmongering religious and political power, enemy of peace and justice in the Middle East.

Please, question the unholy belief that God supposedly said to Abraham “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”. This is blasphemous. The Creator of the Universe is not in the business of cursing His creatures for any reason whatsoever. Nor is He in the business of blessing people who approve the evil doings – crimes– of anyone, even Israel, because Abraham said so, attributing his chauvinist wishful thinking to Jehovah.

Furthermore, question the belief that God, Who in His 6th commandment that gave Moses said “you shall not kill”, would have commanded Joshua to destroy all cities on the road to the so called “promised land”, killing all men and women, young and old oxen sheep and donkeys and everything that breathed with the edge of the sword. (Joshua 6: 21)

Moreover, question the belief that God, the Creator of all peoples, ever said to the Jews that He “gave” them a land on which they had not labored, and cities that they had not built and the fruits of vineyards and olive orchards that they had not plant, for this would mean that God incited his supposedly “chosen people” to theft, which is a direct violation of the 8th and 10th  Commandments, namely “You shall not steal” and “you shall not desire your neighbor’s…  house, his field…  or anything that is your neighbor’s.” (Deuteronomy 5: 6-21)

And, please, do not maintain that supporting Israel in all its crimes against Palestinians will speed up the alleged “Second Coming” of Jesus, because this is a great fallacy. Jesus said that his kingdom is not of this world and that it does not come in a way that could be observed, because the kingdom of God is in us, in every human being. (Luke 17:21) Unfortunately, this profound and revolutionary statement of Jesus has been intentionally mistranslated from the original Greek version to say: the kingdom of God is among you.

So, please, shake off your misconceptions, dear “Christian Zionists”. Stop being part of the problem, i.e. the Middle East Gordian Knot, and become, through your words, actions and prayers, part of a peaceful solution.
