Celebrations erupted in Tel Aviv today after four Israeli hostages were finally rescued from Gaza by Israeli special forces.
Hostages held for eight months had been taken from the Nova music festival on October 7 last year—a captivity that added up to more than 240 days.
The daytime rescue operation in Nuseirat had been planned for weeks, said IDF officials, who released footage of soldiers ushering the hostages to a waiting helicopter.
One of those freed, 25-year-old Noa Argamani, had become famous due to a video of her being dragged away from the festival on a motorbike. Dozens of music-goers were abducted from the concert in the attack by the terrorist organization Hamas.
Three other hostages, aged 21-40, that were being held in another location, were also rescued and now are free men—Andrey Kozlov, Almog Meir Jan, and Shlomi Ziv.
All were in good health and reunited with their families at the hospital.
