However, the reality is different.
The Biden administration is holding Israel back from attacking Iran, the head of the snake. They are also holding Israel back from doing what is necessary to end Hezbollah’s aggression, which is literally destroying homes and communities in Northern Israel. This has driven close to 100,000 Israelis from the North to live as refugees for 8 months and counting.
Instead, we find out that Secretary of State Blinken just met with former Israeli cabinet war minister Benny Gantz in Israel. Gantz just resigned from the government in the middle of a war.
It's truly a baffling time in Israel. Why did Gantz resign from the Israeli government in the midst of the ongoing war? Many people on the ground are perplexed and seeking answers as to why this decision was made, especially at such a critical time.
As we strive to bring about stability in the middle of a war, Gantz’s resignation raises unsettling questions about his priorities. Just how committed was he to ending the rocket and terror threats against Israeli citizens both in Gaza and Lebanon? Was it really wise to resign just as we find ourselves in the midst of an existential war against Shia Iran together with Sunni Muslim Brotherhood forces that seek to dismantle Israel?
It's disheartening to realize that even amidst the rhetoric of prioritizing the nation's well-being over politics, Gantz's resignation from the war cabinet in the middle of this war conveys a different message.
The paradox deepens further when we consider Gantz's involvement in crucial war decisions alongside Netanyahu, and yet his departure from the government. It's difficult to comprehend his criticism of the government's war efforts when he himself has been an active participant in the decision-making process in the war cabinet.
So, what truly drove Gantz's resignation from the government, when he has played such a pivotal role in shaping the war strategies and ceasefire negotiations?
The answer may lie in the unfortunate reality that Gantz's actions could be influenced by external pressures and interests, which brings us back to his recent meeting with Blinken.
Just recently, CNN published a story on a CIA report that warns of Netanyahu “only engaging in the issue of post-war Gaza after the achievements of key security benchmarks.” The CNN report also stated that the Biden administration views Israel less as a trusted partner, just as Gantz was leaving the government.
There are allegations in Israel, that throughout Benny Gantz’s participation in the war cabinet, he was basically taking orders from the Biden administration to hinder the war effort and undermine the Netanyahu government through unfavorable ceasefire deals. The recent statements from the Biden administration, as reported by CNN, regarding the trustworthiness of an Israeli government without Gantz are telling, hinting at external influences shaping Gantz's decisions.
The realization that Gantz's actions may have been driven by external forces, aka the Biden administration, is disheartening. However, this serves as a reminder for us in Israel to remain vigilant and unwavering in safeguarding our nation's interests and sovereignty.
Ultimately, we have a full understanding that a strong and secure Israel helps ensure a strong and secure USA. Any Middle East policy from the Biden administration that harms Israel and does not help end the global terror threat from the terror state of Iran and its proxies, endangers all American citizens.
This time calls for unity, strength, and a renewed commitment to protect Israel's future, not just for Israel’s benefit but for America’s benefit. Let's move forward with resilience, standing firm against external interference and ensuring that our nation's decisions are shaped by our unwavering dedication to its well-being.
