BREAKING: Tommy Robinson reportedly detained after massive patriotic rally in UK

Right-wing British activist Tommy Robinson has reportedly been detained by UK police following his patriotic rally on Saturday that drew tens of thousands of people to Central London. He was allegedly apprehended under the "Terrorism Act 2000," though the charges, if any, are unclear. A large group of supporters gathered outside Downing Street on Sunday demanding his release from jail, according to video footage taken by The Post Millennial senior editor Andy Ngo.

A post issued from an admin on Tommy Robinson's X account alleged that Robinson was arrested under the "Terrorism Act 2000" for reportedly being "someone who 'appears to be' a person who has been concerned in the preparation of acts of terrorism."

The UK Metropolitan Police released a statement explaining that their agency was not involved in the alleged detainment of Robinson.

"Met officers are not involved in the alleged arrest of Tommy Robinson and we are not aware of any links with the demonstration held yesterday in London," the agency wrote on X. "This matter involves another force and we hope that further information will be released soon."

No law enforcement agency has confirmed Robinson's arrest or that he was arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000.

This comes one day after Robinson held a patriotic rally in the heart of London's Trafalgar Square on Saturday, where Robinson was already reportedly threatened with being jailed for showing his banned documentary "Silenced," which the UK government claimed was "libelous," as reported by the Telegraph. He has been accused of "contempt of court" for airing the film, which violated a judge's ruling and order on a defamation case involving a Syrian migrant.

The protest brought tens of thousands of patriotic Brits who showed love and honor for their country, despite the media labeling Robinson's supporters as "far-right" and "racist" before the event.

This is a developing story.
