As a proud member of Gen Z, we didn't grow up with politicians keeping promises. We grew up watching empty slogans, endless wars, broken systems, and leaders who seemed more interested in apologizing for America than fighting for it. So, when Donald Trump walked into Washington, promising to put America first, many doubted that he would follow through.

But he didn't just talk—he delivered.

Trump's first 100 days were a masterclass in action over excuses. While the political establishment and the media laughed, cried, and melted down daily, Trump got to work doing exactly what he said he would: fighting for the forgotten men and women of this country.

From day one, Trump made it clear that national security mattered. He signed executive orders to start securing the southern border, empowered ICE to enforce immigration laws already on the books, and began building the framework for a stronger, safer America—not just for the next four years but for the next generation.

When it came to the economy, Trump didn't waste time. He slashed crushing regulations that had strangled small businesses and choked innovation. He revived the energy sector, unleashing American oil, gas, and coal — bringing jobs and independence back to our economy. Consumer confidence soared. Businesses started hiring again. Even Wall Street — though filled with skeptics — couldn't deny the economic rocket fuel Trump had unleashed.

Internationally, Trump projected strength, not apology. When Syria crossed the red line by using chemical weapons, Trump didn't issue a strongly worded statement — he launched targeted military strikes that sent a clear message: America is back, and our enemies will be held accountable. Under Trump, ISIS's so-called "caliphate" began crumbling rapidly, showing the world that strength, not weakness, is what preserves peace.

For my generation, Trump's first 100 days were a wake-up call. For years, professors, celebrities, and media pundits had told us that America was in permanent decline—that a future of lower expectations was normal, even good. Trump blew that narrative to pieces. He didn't just believe America could win again—he proved it.

And let's be honest: style points were never the goal. Trump didn't cater to political correctness or Beltway elitism. He used Twitter to talk directly to the American people, bypassing the corrupt media filters. Was it unconventional? Yes. Was it effective? Absolutely. He spoke plainly, sometimes roughly, but always with a clear purpose: to disrupt a system failing us for decades.

The media won't admit it, but Trump's first 100 days laid the foundation for the record-breaking economic growth, energy dominance, and national pride that will define the next three years.  

Gen Z didn't need another career politician. We needed a disruptor — someone willing to take the hits, break the old rules, and fight for results. Trump did that and more.

Looking back, it's even clearer now: Trump's first 100 days weren't about headlines or handshakes in the swamp. They were about restoring something much bigger — hope.

I hope that hard work still matters, that America can still lead, and that the American Dream is still alive—not just for the elites but for everyone.

As Gen Z looks toward the future, we aren't searching for polished speeches or hollow promises. We're looking for leaders who deliver results and put America first.

Donald Trump's first 100 days proved he's that leader. And if we want to secure the future our generation deserves, we'd be wise to remember just how much he accomplished — and how quickly.
