JACK POSOBIEC: The Big Beautiful Bill is vital—It’s time to finish the immigration fight

“There’s been too much time spent, I think, on side quests. Let’s get back to the main quest, boys and girls, and the main quest is getting our country back to the country we were all born in.”

Human Events Daily host Jack Posobiec addressed the passage of President Donald Trump’s "Big Beautiful Bill" during his Tuesday podcast, focusing his commentary on what he called the bill’s alignment with MAGA’s core goal: ending mass illegal immigration.

“Folks, we’re sitting here, we’re looking at all that’s going on and looking at the Big Beautiful Bill passing in the United States Senate,” Posobiec said in his opening monologue. “They have the votes, the votes are coming in and there [are] some people who aren’t too happy about the vote.”

One of those critics is tech billionaire and former special government employee Elon Musk, who has publicly opposed the legislation and threatened to support primary challengers against Republican lawmakers who voted for the bill. “He’s now backing Thomas Massie, who has been one of President Trump’s proverbial nemesis when it comes to the spending bills,” Posobiec said. “Trump, of course, is now backing different challengers to Thomas Massie—I don’t believe they’ve chosen a specific one as of yet. This is the state of play on all of it.”

The Senate passed the bill in a narrow 51–50 vote on Tuesday, with Vice President JD Vance casting the tie-breaking vote. Republican Senators Thom Tillis (NC), Susan Collins (ME), and Rand Paul (KY) were the only GOP members to vote against the measure.

While acknowledging economic concerns, Posobiec reminded viewers that mass immigration remains the fundamental issue for the America First movement.

“Here’s where I stand, here’s where I come down on all of this. America’s finances are absolutely in tatters, the disparity and destruction you see on the financial side is 100 percent true,” Posobiec said. “However, there is a larger threat to the United States of America than an economic downturn… That is the threat of the mass immigration crisis.”

“That’s what President Trump talked about when he came down the golden escalator, that’s what all of 2016 was about,” he said. “Every single moment from that time til now has been about deporting every single last person who shouldn’t be in this country back to where they came from. At least, somewhere else. You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here.”

“Whether it’s Alligator Alcatraz or Guantanamo Bay, whatever it is, I don’t particularly care. I just want them out. I want them out of my country.”

The "Big Beautiful Bill" includes funding for border security, tax relief measures, and defense priorities. Following its Senate passage, the bill will return to the House for another vote on the amended text. If passed again, it will head to President Trump’s desk.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has promised swift action, saying in a joint statement with GOP leadership: “The House will work quickly to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill that enacts President Trump’s full America First agenda by the Fourth of July.”

“There’s been too much time spent, I think, on side quests,” he said. “Let’s get back to the main quest, boys and girls, and the main quest is getting our country back to the country we were all born in.”
