KENNY CODY: ‘No Kings’ protests fall flat as Trump deportations gain in popularity

These protests not only came off as delusional but as inherently anti-American. President Trump has maintained the public's trust in him to keep America safe, bring jobs back to the nation, and pursue a foreign policy guided by peace through strength.

On June 14th, 2025, leftists around the United States planned to protest President Donald Trump, his mass deportation effort, and his second term as the 47th President as a whole. Similar to other movements that have advocated against Trump and the MAGA movement, these rallies were organized to describe the President as an overarching tyrant but fell extremely flat at nearly every single metric.

The "No Kings" protests ambitiously hoped for participation at over 2,000 sites and millions of participants opposing Trump on the same day as a military parade was scheduled to celebrate the United States Army's 250th anniversary.

However, those efforts fell flat and failed to make even a single dent in Trump's momentum, as his approval ratings continue to soar due to his policies resonating with the American people.

With the Los Angeles riots by illegal immigrants and their protectors, along with the previous participation of leftists during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, many on the far-left were hopeful and expected there to be similar numbers of their ideology to shift that same energy into protesting the 47th President's administration and its actions.

However, their hopes were dashed as the reality was quite different for the anti-Trump and anti-American left.

The reality, though, was quite different for the anti-Trump and anti-American left. There was such low attendance at many of these sites throughout the nation that many protests ended up being canceled after promises were made that the energy would skyrocket. The Trump White House even labeled the protests as a "complete and utter failure with minuscule attendance."

The members of the protests had low energy, with sad crowds that reeked more of brainwashed catchphrases being yelled than it did of participants who had intellectual opposition to what Trump and his administration were doing while in office.

While the protesters had the goal of painting Trump with the same authoritarian trope that has been attributed to him by the left since he entered politics ten years ago, the policies he has been advocating for have resonated more with the American people than any other time since he has been a candidate or the incumbent President.

Trump's mass deportation effort has skyrocketed to fifty-six percent approval among Americans, his job approval rating is up, and the left continues to lose support in generic congressional ballots before the 2026 midterm elections. This success of Trump's policies is a testament to his effective leadership and the support he has garnered from the American people.

In this effort, Democrats have made themselves look as bad as they ever have. By blocking interstate roadways, burning down cars, and sounding like the same screeching Marxists as they did nearly a decade ago, the American people can see right through the charade that these protesters are putting on. Not only have they tried to convince the nation we are run by a tyrant who is doing the exact things we voted for him to do, but the day they chose to do it ended up being one of the most successful events President Trump has hosted during his time in office.

In the military parade, celebrating the Army's two hundred and fiftieth anniversary, the greatness of America was put on full display. Not only did the event go as successful and draw out as many emotions as possible throughout the day, but President Trump also took a backseat to America's warfighters.

With the shortest speech of his political career, Trump insisted on putting America's fighting force on the front stage and showing them off as the heroes they have been over the last two hundred and fifty years.

During the midst of our American military being celebrated generation after generation, the left was busy complaining about the parade and calling the President a fascist. At the same time, their protest participation fell flat on its face.

These protests not only came off as delusional but as inherently anti-American. President Trump has maintained the public's trust in him to keep America safe, bring jobs back to the nation, and pursue a foreign policy guided by peace through strength.

There is a palpable difference between the American right and the far-left right now. Conservatives celebrate the greatness of America and the impact a President who is proud of his nation has on his people.

At the same time, the left recycles an anti-authoritarian mantra that our country's people are not buying. This stark contrast highlights the division in our country, with President Trump and his MAGA movement embodying the soul of America, while the left and supporters of the 'No Kings' protests want us to hate our nation. Trump is winning, and Democrats are grasping for a non-existent straw to win America back. Fortunately, that effort is failing.
