With the ideological differences between the two parties, America would either go down the route of national populism with a priority of their citizens first or down the path of globalist foreign, economic, and domestic policy that would concentrate itself around cultural Marxism and progressivism.
The victory surprised many, as the Democratic National Committee and its establishment's leaders thought they had awarded themselves plenty of opportunity to defeat Trump by kicking President Joe Biden to the curb as its nominee while raising a billion dollars in campaign funding. Unfortunately for them, Harris could not even come close to achieving a victory, even as she was thrown as a last-ditch effort to prevent Trump from taking back the White House.
Now, many in the Republican establishment will tell the MAGA movement, Trump supporters, and even the mainstream media that his victory is not because of him. Moreover, they believe it is a referendum on an unpopular administration that Harris was the Vice President of and that the election was far more about her as a candidate than it was about President Trump being the electoral juggernaut he is now perceived as.
As bad as Harris was, the circumstances against Trump tilted all facets against him. The man was charged with thirty-four felony counts, which were bogus by every legal metric imaginable. He was shot at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, surviving by the skin of his teeth. There was another attempt on his life just two months later, and the entire media was ensuring they would incite violence against him by continuing to paint him as an authoritarian fascist as they had over the past decade. Even though most think Trump might have been the favorite, most pollsters and election analysts viewed the race as a complete toss-up.
In the end, President-elect Donald Trump ran the best campaign of the modern era and secured the most significant victory for The United States since 1776 with the American Revolution. With the ideological differences between the two parties, America would either go down the route of national populism with a priority of their citizens first or down the path of globalist foreign, economic, and domestic policy that would concentrate itself around cultural Marxism and progressivism.
If the Democratic Party were able to pull a bait-and-switch with Biden and Harris, engage in 'lawfare' against President Trump, a term used to describe the use of legal actions for political purposes, and attempt to kill him not once but twice, Americans likely would have seen the downfall of their constitutional republic. At every avenue, all the odds were against the President because of his America First vision for all citizens.
Amid everything plotted against Trump, every decision Trump made during his campaign felt monumental and needed to be flawless, and it was. His strategic decisions, such as selecting Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, now feel like they were some of the most significant hire decisions in modern Republican politics. They solidified a unique vision and strategy that handed Trump the victory through routes such as alternative media, policy visions such as eliminating the income tax in favor of tariffs, and holding campaign events at venues such as Madison Square Garden. Trump's tabbing of Senator JD Vance as his running mate was a controversial decision, but now it looks like one of the better choices ever. Vance helped reach demographics such as young and union voters in the Rust Belt states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. As a result, voters in the 2024 election viewed him more favorably than ever, and his popularity led him to the most significant landslide in twenty-first-century politics.
While many debatable events over the last few decades were turning points in American history, this moment feels immeasurable. The tide has turned against leftism, and the conservative right has had its most significant victory in the history of Republican politics. Not only did Trump win the electoral college as he did in 2016, but he also won the popular vote, becoming the first Republican to do so since 2004. Americans embrace Trump for what he is and not who the left and mainstream media have worked so hard to paint him as.
Trump's victory solidified itself as the most remarkable American comeback story ever. A man who was impeached, charged, shot, and demonized, yet he persevered and won the presidency for the second time against all odds. His resilience is truly inspiring.
The United States can rejoice that the American dream is back in full force, and the country's golden era is on track to commence extremely soon, thanks to President Donald John Trump.
