KENNY CODY: Trump's foreign and domestic moves are designed to put America first

These moves, both foreign and domestically, have been at the forefront of his mind due to them putting America First above all.

For the last decade, now-President Donald Trump has discussed his opposition to Iran gaining nuclear weapons. With their crazed leadership and the presence of American troops in Middle Eastern countries, Trump has always held the position that the men who control the Iranian government should not be able to run roughshod or endanger the men and women of the United States military.

While he has advocated for peace, Trump's decision on the evening of June 21st to strike Iran's three nuclear facilities, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, was a necessary step for peace. In doing this, Trump insisted that now was the time for peace and carried out one of the most secretive measures in the history of the Department of Defense, a move that was crucial for the safety of our nation.

Now, the panicans will begin to call Trump a warmonger the same way they said he was inhumane for kicking out illegal aliens or that he would wreck the American economy with his retaliatory tariffs. The neoconservatives will attempt to paint this move as an entrance into a forever war, the libertarian right will try and paint Trump as another George Bush, and the left will all-of-a-sudden return to their anti-war tropes of years past.

MAGA, though, truly needs to trust the process. During his second term, America has witnessed Trump deliver on promises, including mass deportations to deter the criminality of illegal migrants, implementing change agents at every entity in the executive branch, and facilitating peace through strength in both economic and foreign policy. This trust in Trump's leadership is what will guide us through these challenging times and ensure the safety and prosperity of our nation.

Iran securing nuclear weapons would create an unstable region where the American military would be at risk and would generate the power to strike American interests and put all of our men and women in uniform at risk. Iran is ultimately an insane rogue state that wants death to anyone who is not a part of jihadist Islamic culture or Sharia law and chants death to America in their streets. A country that evildoers like Ali Hosseini Khamenei run as their Supreme Leader cannot be trusted to possess a nuclear weapon and have the power to attack American interests, and the route to the end of any escalation of a potential war was through ending Iran's nuclear development.

The MAGA movement will get behind this move and know that Trump is avoiding a regime change war. He has stated such and will continue to hold that perspective. Iran's ownership of these weapons would launch a nuclear arms race that would harm America and the rest of the world. President Trump and his national security team tried to get Iran to the table, and they refused and threatened our country and people. Now, peace through strength will be facilitated through this aggressive action, and we must trust the President to do so, as we have throughout his presidency. We trusted there was no forever war started with Iran when he killed Qasem Soleimani during his first term, and we have to trust that the same will be done with this move.

Trump has managed to balance not only the most important foreign policy move of the last decade —avoiding a forever war — but also prioritizing domestic policy. Despite failed protests, judicial lawfare from democratically-appointed federal judges, and intervention from leftist governors such as California Governor Gavin Newsom, Trump has made promises that were kept. Internal challenges domestically have been no match for President Trump and his team, and they have conducted the most successful deportation effort to protect American soil in the history of our nation within just six months of incumbency.

The balance of the nation has rested upon Trump's hands for the first half year of his second term. Regardless of protests that falsely called him a king, politicians committing ignorant interference, and his own party's establishment coming out against many of his moves as President, Trump has continued to succeed regardless of cowardly intervention.

The 47th President of the United States will not make a decision based upon another country's plea. He is not for regime change, will not take in illegal aliens, and will not be involved in forever wars if that means that it will create threats for American citizens. These moves, both foreign and domestically, have been at the forefront of his mind due to them putting America First above all. MAGA owes it to President Trump to trust his process, and he has not let us down yet. This "America First" policy is a testament to his commitment to our nation and our people.
