With Ed Martin leading the charge, I am more confident that the truth will prevail.

Sometimes, what appears to be a setback is, in reality, divine providence redirecting someone to exactly where they’re meant to be. We may see that with my friend and conservative warrior, Ed Martin.

When President Trump nominated Ed to serve as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, those of us who know his legal brilliance and unwavering commitment to constitutional principles celebrated. Here was a man ready to bring accountability to a justice system that strayed far from its founding ideals.

Constitutional Rights PAC coordinated a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee supporting Ed, signed by 47 conservative and non-partisan organizations representing millions of grassroots Americans. Social media lit up with support, and congressional switchboards were flooded with demands for his confirmation.

Then came Senator Thom Tillis, who intervened to block Ed’s confirmation over manufactured concerns regarding his defense of the January 6th defendants. Senator Tillis will hear from my friends and me during his next election. But while his betrayal was disappointing, it ultimately revealed a far more consequential calling for Ed’s unique talents.

President Trump has appointed Ed Martin as the DOJ’s Pardon Attorney and Director of the Department’s Weaponization Working Group. In this new role, Ed is no longer confined to prosecuting street crime in D.C. He’s been positioned at the very heart of exposing and remedying some of the most egregious abuses of government power we’ve witnessed in our lifetime.

As Ed himself declared upon his appointment, he will “investigate the weaponization of our government under the Biden regime and provide much-needed justice for its victims.” That mission couldn’t be more vital for preserving our constitutional republic.

The American people deserve the truth about how government agencies turned against political opponents, concerned parents, people of faith, and everyday citizens. Ed Martin, armed with legal acumen, media savvy, and fearless devotion to the truth, is exactly the right person to lead that effort.

I’ve known Ed for years. When he served as president of Phyllis Schlafly Eagles, he displayed an unwavering dedication to conservative principles while mentoring the next generation of constitutional warriors. His ability to navigate complex legal terrain while clearly communicating with the American public makes him uniquely suited for this moment.

And let’s not forget another critical asset: Ed’s vast experience as a TV and radio host, regularly featured on major networks like CNN, Fox News, and many others. His proven ability to cut through the noise of mainstream media spin and deliver the unvarnished truth to the American people is a rare and invaluable skill. In this fight, being right isn’t enough—you must be heard. And Ed knows how to make truth resonate across airwaves, headlines, and viral clips. He won’t just uncover corruption—he’ll make sure the American people see it, understand it, and demand justice.

Make no mistake—investigating the weaponization of government won’t be easy. Powerful forces are invested in maintaining the corrupt status quo. But Ed Martin has never shied away from brutal fights. From defending religious liberty to challenging election irregularities, he has consistently shown the moral courage our nation desperately needs.

So, while the forces of Permanent Washington may have blocked one path forward, they inadvertently cleared the way for Ed to take on an even more consequential role. Their resistance is proof that they fear what an uncompromising truth-teller like Ed Martin could expose.

To those who sought to sideline him: you’ve only made him more powerful. Now, Ed can wield his legal expertise and media reach to illuminate the darkest corners of government abuse. And Constitutional Rights PAC will stand firmly behind him in this critical mission.

Restoring constitutional governance requires a clear-eyed investigation into how our justice system has been weaponized against the American people. With Ed Martin leading the charge, I am more confident that the truth will prevail.

Ed Martin is here to cook. The American people are hungry for accountability—and he’s about to serve up justice.

Let him cook.
