The two women who have accused former GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz of paying them for sex favors do not want to testify publicly but they support the release of their private testimony before the House Ethics Committee, according to their lawyer. 

Attorney Joel Leppard told NBC News that the women "hope to put pressure on the House to release the contents of the investigation."

Their allegations go far back as 2017.

One of the women reportedly told investigators Gaetz had sex with a friend who was 17-years-old at the time. 

Gaetz, President-elect Trump's nominee for attorney general, has denied the allegations.
