Former President Trump reportedly told Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, "I love that you’re back," in response to the GOP governor's efforts to raise money for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign.

DeSantis is working with his Florida allies to raise money for Trump's general election campaign against President Biden, according to a report.

Trump called into a gathering of roughly 30 people who were fundraising, along with DeSantis, for an outside group that supports Trump's campaign. 

“Ron, I love that you’re back," Trump said.

According to the report, DeSantis and his donor allies have raised more than $3 million for Trump so far.

The Super PAC that supported DeSantis' primary run against Trump raised about $130 million.
