The International Longshoremen’s Association ended their strike on Thursday evening, after reaching an agreement on wages with the United States Maritime Alliance.
Approximately 50,000 members of the union have been striking since Tuesday, per CNN, which halted all shipments at ports on the East Coast and in the Gulf.
The workers will return to work on Friday.
