Member of the Israeli Knesset Simcha Rothman said Wednesday that the country will be having hearings on the amendment changes to the World Health Organization's pandemic and health policies.
"Yes, and I've heard it's concerning many other nations," Rothman answered on the Wednesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show when asked.
The global health organization is attempting to prepare for future pandemics by creating a unified policy that would allegedly help countries respond to world-wide emergencies faster than it did for COVID-19.
Rothman said at the moment there isn't a date for the hearing and he does want to go into it with an open mind.
"I want to hear are these new regulations of the World Health Organization going to improve data sharing and working together, joining forces to eliminate pandemics, or is it supposed to be some kind of centralized, organized mechanism that will try to impose its views on different nations?" he asked.
He said that it is important for nations to have sovereignty when it comes to health decisions.
