Most voters want companies to provide adoption, child birth benefits if they cover abortion: Poll


A majority of respondents, 71%, in a recent Napolitan Institute national poll, said that "employers provide abortion benefits to employees, such as covering travel expenses, they should also provide equal benefits to employees seeking infertility treatments, adopting a child, or giving birth," according to the results released on Monday.

In addition, understanding of the term "woke" increased based on the poll's results. 

The poll included 1,000 likely voters. It was conduct from Oct. 15-16.

Half of respondents said that woke meant "increased awareness of social issues and discrimination," representing an increase from 38% two months ago.

Among those polled, 77% said they were concerned about the "safety and quality of the food that they and their families eat" while 81% are "satisfied with the choices currently available to them."
