New York Judge Juan Merchan is expected to decide as early as Tuesday whether to dismiss President-elect Donald Trump's guilty verdict in the hush money case.

Merchan's decision will come in the form of a written opinion.

A jury found Trump guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree stemming from a payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election.

Trump had pleaded not guilty. 

Trump'd sentencing was originally scheduled for July 11th, but it was delayed until September 18. Merchan delayed the sentencing date again until after the election to avoid the appearance of attempting to influence the outcome. His sentencing is now scheduled for sentencing on Nov. 26.
