'Not going to be nice': Trump slams Harris as 'radical left lunatic' during rally

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday attacked his likely Democratic rival Vice President Kamala Harris, labeling her as a "radical left lunatic" who would destroy the country if elected in November.

Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee for president on Monday, after President Joe Biden dropped his bid for reelection on Sunday and endorsed her candidacy.

The attack was the first of its kind at one of Trump's rallies, where he said that he was "not going to be nice." Trump, who likes to give nicknames to his political rivals, said "Lyin' Kamala Harris" was behind all of the problems the country currently faces, and vowed that he would not be nice to her in the upcoming election.

"Kamala Harris has been the ultra liberal driving force behind every single Biden catastrophe. She is a radical left lunatic who will destroy our country," Trump said at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina. "Kamala Harris is the most liberal elected politician in American history."
