Police have reportedly arrested a suspect in connection to an apparent act of arson at Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's residence in Harrisburg on Sunday.

Fire crews eventually put out the flames but the fire left a great deal of damage.

Shapiro and his family were present inside the home during the fire but were not harmed.

Shaprio released a statement about the situation on X.

The Pennsylvania State Police have said the incident was an act of arson that is under investigation.
