Sparks fly at Hunter Biden gun trial as spectators lash out with insults, swearing

Hunter Biden's gun trial got off to a raucous starts, with two major incidents involving shouting and insults from observers.

The first son's wife Melissa Cohen Biden lashed out on Tuesday at a Trump White House aide, claiming the man should not be at her husband's Delaware trial, where he has been charged with three felonies stemming from a gun purchase in 2018.

Biden allegedly lied about being on drugs, or being addicted to drugs, when purchasing the firearm. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, but previously admitted that he had been addicted to cocaine in 2018.

Cohen cursed out the former White House aide Garrett Ziegler, claiming he had no right to be at the trial, and referred to him as a "Nazi piece of s***."  Ziegler was sued by Biden for publishing the contents of Biden's laptop last year. He also leads the nonprofit Marco Polo, and did not respond to Cohen's confrontation at the time, according to Fox News.

"It's sad I've been sitting here the whole time and haven’t approached anyone," Ziegler told NBC News, who first reported the incident. "For the record, I’m not a Nazi, I’m a believer in the U.S. Constitution. I haven’t said one thing to them."

The nonprofit also responded to the attack via social media, claiming Cohen had the same temperament as her husband.

"The wife has the same level of impulse control as Hunter. To the family bringing decency back, anyone who is perceived as opposition is a Nazi," the group said in a post to X. "Truly contemptible liars & scoundrels. We don’t respond in kind in the back of a courtroom, because we’re gentlemen who do not berate women."

The interaction comes as Biden was reportedly slammed by the daughter of one of his biggest benefactors, Kevin Morris. Dulcie Lou Morris, 23, accused the first son of taking advantage of her father, after he donated Biden millions of dollars to help with legal fees and debts since 2020, according to the New York Post.

“His entire family has abandoned him because they were livid when they found out he was bankrolling everything,” an unnamed source close to the Morris family told the outlet.

Sources told Politico last month that Morris is running out of cash and resources to continue helping Biden. Morris has loaned at least $6.5 million to the first son since 2020.
