Steve Bannon's daughter says her father's imprisonment will not 'silence' him

Maureen Bannon, daughter of Steve Bannon, said Tuesday that her father's being in prison will not silence him and his voice will get louder.

"War Room will not be silenced," she said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "They believe that by putting him in prison, that War Room's just going to go away [and] that no one is going to hear his voice."

"That is ... honestly not true," she added. "His voice will get louder."

Bannon, a former White House strategist reported to federal prison on Monday.

He is expected to be there for four months for ignoring subpoenas from the House Jan. 6 Select Committee.

"He might not be behind the mic every day for the next four months, but we will have amazing guest hosts that will get the word out," Maureen said.

Bannon has referred to himself as a "political prisoner" and has said he is "proud to go to prison" to serve his sentence if that's what it takes to stand up to Democratic leaders.
