Three deceased children from an all-girls camp have been found, bringing the death toll to 27 from Texas flooding in the state’s south-central region overnight into Friday.
Two of the campers from Camp Mystic have been identified as Renee Smajstrla and Janie Hunt.
In total, 9 children have died in the flooding so far.
There are still at least 17 campers still missing after the heavy flooding as of Saturday afternoon.
Parents have been posting photos of their missing daughters on social media in the hopes of finding them as soon as possible.
Officials said at least 27 people are dead due to the flooding from the Guadalupe River in Kerr County.
Almost 240 people have been rescued or evacuated as a result of the flooding, according to authorities.
