Trump, Harris tied at 48% in final NY Times-Siena national poll before Election Day

GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and Democratic rival Vice President Kamala Harris are tied in the final New York Times-Siena College national poll, which was released Friday.

Harris and Trump, a former president, have essentially been deadlocked in most polls since Harris became the nominee in August. The results of the new NYT-Siena survey underscore how remarkably close the race is with Election Day now just 11 days away.

The poll was conducted Oct. 20-23 and included 2,516 likely voters.

The poll also shows 61% of voters think the country is headed in the wrong direction and 27% said it is heading in the right direction.
