A new Quinnipiac poll shows GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris in the state of North Carolina.
According to the poll, Trump leads Harris 49% to 47%. Green Party candidate Jill Stein got 1% support, as did Justice For All Party candidate Cornel West.
The poll was conducted in late September.
It also showed that independents favored Harris over Trump by about two percentage points, a reversal from earlier polls, where Trump led among the group by 5 points.
Pollsters said the North Carolina race is "too close to call" as more and more surveys are conducted, according to The Hill.
In a previous poll, Harris was ahead of Trump by three points in North Carolina.
The Quinnipiac poll was conducted between Sept. 25-29 and surveyed 953 likely voters. The margin of error is 3.2%.
