President Donald Trump is expected to meet with GOP House leaders Tuesday prior to the chamber's vote on the Senate's version of his budget resolution. 

The National Republican Congressional Committee is holding a fundraiser Tuesday evening at which Trump will be the guest of honor, according to the news outlet NOTUS. 

Multiple House Republicans are opposed to the Senate's budget plan and House leaders are hoping Trump can convince them to vote for it.

House Speaker Mike Johnson reportedly plans to vote on the Senate blueprint resolution as early as Wednesday.

The resolution includes $175 billion for border security and will expand Trump's 2017 tax cuts.

House Republicans such as Chip Roy, Texas and Andy Ogles, Tennessee, are against the Senate's proposal, arguing that it doesn't cut spending enough.
