The United States government is investigating an unauthorized release of classified documents from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency related to Israel’s purported plan to attack Iran, according to an Associated Press reporting citing U.S. officials.

According to the report, the documents were shared with Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Israel is preparing a military strike on Iran in response to Iran’s ballistic missile attack on Israel on Oct. 1, according to the top secret documents.
