The United States won its first gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics Saturday, in the men's 4x100 meter freestyle relay.
The team consisted of swimmers Hunter Armstrong, Caeleb Dressel, Jack Alexy and Chris Guiliano.
This is Dressel's eighth Olympic gold medal.
The margin of victory over second place Australia was 1.07 seconds, according to CBS News.
Italy got the bronze medal.
