Senate Democrats have forced a floor reading of the GOP's 940-page "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" as a way to slow down the process of passage.
The Senate released a revised version of the House-passed version of the bill late on Friday night.
Republicans are using the budget reconciliation tool to avoid the 60-vote threshold normally required to pass legislation. Both parties have utilized the same strategy in the past.
The bill passed a procedural hurdle on Saturday 51-49.
The floor reading of the bill is taking place on Sunday in the Senate.
