Clooney: Biden Has To Go
Just a couple of weeks ago the talking point was that the Hollywood elite were going to save Joe Biden’s campaign.
Now he doesn’t even have them.
George Clooney, who three weeks ago was the star of a huge fundraiser for Biden, which also featured Barack Obama, has slammed Biden’s debate performance and said there needs to be a new Democratic nominee.
Clooney made the comments in an op Ed for the New York Times, stating “In the last four years, [Biden has] won many of the battles he’s faced. But the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time. None of us can.”
Clooney continues, “It’s devastating to say it, but the Joe Biden I was with three weeks ago at the fund-raiser was not the Joe big F-ing deal Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020.”
He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate,” Clooney urges.
Ooof, awkward.
Clooney adds “our party leaders need to stop telling us that 51 million people didn’t see what we just saw,” further declaring that “The George Stephanopoulos interview only reinforced what we saw the week before.”
“As Democrats, we collectively hold our breath or turn down the volume whenever we see the president, who we respect, walk off Air Force One or walk back to a mic to answer an unscripted question,” he writes.
The knives are out for Biden, he doesn’t even have his Hollywood influencers on board anymore.With the likes of Nancy Pelosi also still refusing to get behind Biden, it can now only be a matter of days, if that, before he is canned, however that is going to be undertaken.
