CNN Locks Down The Debate By Completely Excluding All Reporters
CNN has denied access to the presidential debate to all external reporters, including the White House Press Corps, which says it is “deeply concerned” by the move.
Interestingly, the Press Corps petitioned CNN for full access, stating that there could be a medical emergency with one of the candidates that would require in person coverage.
We all know exactly what that means, after the past month of watching Biden dither and wander around completely oblivious to where he is or what he’s supposed to be doing.
CNN denied the request, saying that it will only allow one reporter to go in to the studio to briefly see the set up before the debate starts.
The White House Correspondent’s Association Issued the following statement expressing strong opposition to CNN’s actions.
They claim that both Biden and Trump’s campaigns do not oppose at least one pool reporter being present, so it is CNN alone that has taken the decision to exclude the press completely, which is ironic.
It’s more narrative control.
The network has made a massive deal out of the fact that it will mute microphones as it pleases.
Surely it will be completely fair and unbiased.
