Fake posters claiming that the Philadelphia Eagles have endorsed Kamala Harris for president have appeared around the city, prompting outrage from some fans, and forcing the NFL team to issue a statement declaring the campaign to be fraudulent.
The ads posted at bus stops, depict Harris in an Eagles uniform with the caption “Kamala: Official Candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles” and the url of the Philadelphia Eagles’ official voting information page.
They are so convincing that some people started calling for a boycott.

I've been an EAGLES fan since the day I was born. Just like my dad & my grandad from Philadelphia.I have baby photos with me wearing @Eagles bibs.
I will burn every jersey, flag, hat I own and I will NEVER watch another game if the @Eagles…
While Democrat voters were happy.

It is unclear how the ads got there, with speculation that a satirical ‘artist’ may be behind the scam.
"Several people on social media have claimed that the posters were illustrated by satirical street artist Winston Tseng," reports CBS Philadelphia.

Wouldn't Wiston Tseng have taken credit for these posters on his Instagram already? pic.twitter.com/nOGU6UzLTD
This guy took it upon himself to put up notices on the poster pointing out that it is fake:

The poster was quickly removed.
While it may seem light hearted, technically this is election interference, and people have gone to prison for less.

What will happen to those responsible for running huge fake endorsement ads for Kamala in Philadelphia + swing states?
A good journalist should get to the bottom of who paid for this! https://t.co/GqpkcOTeyJ pic.twitter.com/gQoSf1lvq5
